  1. I've used 7'6 and 8ft rods from a pontoon with no problem. Might take a bit of getting used to, but you can do just about anything from a toon.
  2. If anyone wants a Zillion rod after reading this, I'm selling one ;D Check the flea market! I know you want another one Natural! ;D
  3. Guys where are you getting your information from? The Zillions have a life time warranty as well...
  4. Zillion, hands down. I don't like the reel seat on the Cumara at all.
  5. I had the Daiwa Froggin Rod. It telescopes a few inches above the reel seat. With a frog rod, I wouldn't be too concerned with sensitivity. One because your probably mostly going to be throwing frogs. Two, because you'll have braid on, so even if you tie a jig on, braid will help you out with sensitivity.
  6. If anyone finds these Fuegos for $150 again, please do send me a PM. They're for sale many places for $170 but $135 and such is just a crazy good deal. Thanks
  7. Damnit! I should have called when you told me to last week Micro, d**n!!!
  8. Just curious why you prefer throwing 6" senkos on a spinning rig? By no means is there anything wrong with it, I did it for a while, but also keep in mind a 6" Senko is plenty heavy to be throwing it with bait casting gear. Not trying to change your mind, you may be totally set on spinning, just thought I'd throw that out there. I'd definitely be using a MH or H rod for 6" Senkos.
  9. I have 3 STXs . I use 20 and 25lb fouro test on my STXs without a single problem at all.

  11. Definitely would up it to 50lb, no doubt about it. If you're fishing rocks, use a leader no matter how dirty the water is, fluoro is much more abrasion resistant then braid. If you're fishing dirty water not around rocks, it's up to you, but tie a good knot so it doesn't slip. If you're fishing clear water, use a fluoro leader. For frogs, no leader.
  12. Dobyns 784 - Jigs or C-Rig Dobyns 734 - Little heavier soft plastics, spinnerbaits, etc. Dobyns 733 - Weightless and other soft plastics Dobyns 705CB - Crankin/Spinnerbaits Dobyns 702 - Drop Shot / Shaky Head
  13. Dobyns 765 , awesome flipping stick, lightest one I've used.
  14. Rock isn't a problem, just use a fluoro leader.
  15. 10lb Braid works fine with a spinning reel. Big fish I've caught shaky head with 10lb braid is 6lb14oz without a problem.
  16. Cmon now Fourbizz, you don't have to act tough. I saw you at Folsom with your pink and purple combo.
  17. Sierra Mist, 7up, Sprite .
  18. WHAT!?!? YOU LET BING GET TO YOU!? HE'S TAUGHT YOU THE WAYS OF TAKING 70 BASS PER WEEK TO EAT?!

  20. Don't quote me, but here in california i'm pretty sure it's illegal to use bluegill as bait. Do your research first!!!! In just about every body of water in California this is true, with a few exceptions. But definitely be careful and know which places allow it before attempting to do this.
  21. Reading the first few pages on this thread are funny, everyone very against the idea that gas prices would get into the $2 range! I too thought it wouldn't happen. Lets just hope things stay this way.
  22. Nice going bro! Congrats!
