Nice, I used to head up there about every other weekend when I was younger but this was before I really started fishing. My parents have another place about 30 mins from mascoma lake which is were we used to stay, im gonna try to head up there for a weekend this fall with my dad hopefully. Have you ever tried Grafton pond, its awesome for smallies i hear, thats the one with tons of little islands, haven't fished it in years same as mascoma but am hoping to this fall. -Dave

Jets just finished the first half 34-0 against the cardinals, coles has 3 TDs in the first half, kurt warner has thrown 2 ints and has lost 3 fumbles...ouch. Needless to say jets are owning

Haha yes it was definately an interesting trip. You forgot one of the funnier parts how we must have looked like idiots to the people driving by before the car got towed and we were in the abandoned parking lot with the boat still hitched to the car and i was learning to use my baitcaster by casting into the dirt area lol. And im pretty sure you're right, i wouldn't doubt it if people try that spot after seeing us fish it with all that tackle lol. Oh well, hopefully the next trip will bring us some good luck. Hey guys i went out last night and i was using my newish rod/reel combo i got at bass pro shops last month. Its one of the graphite series rods with a abu garcia cardinal 100 reel. The same one as in this link: http://www.basspro.c...0003000_100-3-2 Well anyways after awhile of fishing i cast overhead and suddenly my 1 piece rod became a 2 piece rod. Half of the rod flew off, i recovered the other half and i can put it back together and use it like a 2 piece but i was kinda ticked cause i've had it for less than a month and it broke. So this winter i'll be saving up for a few new rods/reels and was wondering what you guys would suggest i've never really had any expensive rods the most i've spent on one was like 60 but i'll be looking to spend around 150. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave

I'd say I have progressed quite a bit this year. Up until this year i have never caught a fish at night or on topwater, this year my favorite fishing was at night using topwater. Just yesterday i caught my first spinnerbait fish and saw another member from here catch a 6lber on a spinnerbait so i will be giving spinnerbaits alot more attention (thanks chuck).

Hey everyone went out with wagn today, it was a pretty windy and a slow day... I had a pickeral come off at the boat early on and caught my first largemouth on a spinnerbait right before we left.....WAGN on the other hand caught a monster early in the trip, this thing was HUGE!!! No scale with us but this had to have been at least 6lbs it was fat!!! He also had a pickeral and another decent sized bass. Great job wagn! wagns big fish: FAT!!! Wagns other bass:
