I hope he sets career milestones this year. Arcia has kind of lessened the impact though given his stellar play thus far for the Braves. Sure do miss him. Shuster better put together a clean game next time out or he should be sent back down. Albies needs to get the bat going as well.

I started with 3 Koi and 2 Goldfish about a decade ago, today only one remains in the Koi pond, and it's a Goldfish. He's gotten massive. Hate to see your little buddy like that, surprised he didn't get eaten by a Bass earlier in his life.

OG Terminators are the closest thing I've found. Nichols Pulsator and most War Eagle models are considered top tier. Booyah Covert for a finesse presentation. Then again I have no idea why somebody would throw a spinner widget instead of a Jackhammer ?

I forgot how big of a luxury having a low profile heavy glass Bass boat vs. an AI one was until I fished out of one for a day a couple weeks ago. I thought I was going to miss the awesome casting deck and front control foot control TM......but it was the weight of the glass boat that made for such a user friendly fishing experience. Very timely thread. Been thinking of buying a restored 17" Tracker, but the glass aspect really gave me pause. I really want that weight and low sitting profile.

A good percentage of my biggest fish come from running these things into wood cover. You are right though, wrapping around limbs yo yoing, and hanging them up on wood are about the only two ways to get the stuck. Depth control and using your electronics to establish the top of the cover you are fishing can eliminate lots of these snags. Not to mention if you got FFS.

To me a huge part of Bass fishing is lures.....it's tricking these special critters on neat stuff that does it for me outside of those bigger fish that make you shake.

Yeah it's a little creepy with me sometimes ? The ones that get it are when I pair something together so that I feel "I made something". Putting a Bhite Delite Jackhammer with a Missile Baits Green Pumpkin Delite was the most recent bait that wow'd me. Before that it was Berkeley's Slobberknocker in Green Pumpkin Shad paired with Berkley 4" Power Stinger in TN Shad. Oddly enough, one slays fish, the other was a dud. Then any bait outside of a T Rig that catches a big fish becomes "bait porn". I'll just look at it at with love and affection. Another thing that is bait porn to me is when a bait matches the hatch really well. Yes, I'm a strong consumer of bait porn, one might call it an addiction ? A new 110jr+1 vs one that has caught 125+ fish including a 7.2 over winter, perhaps my favorite bait porn is when my hard lures are beat to death by fish

Yeah exactly, if I know the tops of a laydown come up to 5fow, I'm gunning to run that chatterbait right off the tops of the cover. For many this is submerged grass, but it just as well can be harder cover like tree limps of stumps, etc. Yo Yoing is a bit different, and you can hang up a bit more, but it's fantastic if you are working a bigger area that just has lots of submerged cover and stuff. Reeling it and simply killing it works as well. I tried it and have caught a few doing it.

I hear that brother; Spring and the Spawn has been a whole lot of frustration with some quality fish mixed in.
