Road To The Superbowl 2024
You can feel the magic brewing again in this epic matchup b/t the best two QBs in the game. Chiefs vs Bills games would be best of 3 series if I were the commissioner

Road To The Superbowl 2024
The Bills have the chance to end all NFL fan's nightmare of having to see and hear constantly about Swift and Kelce.......on a side note they also have the chance to go to the AFC championship game 🤣

Yeah I can't ever remember seeing a crowd as fired up at a NFL game as this one or really last week.

Looking for a ‘high end’ popper rod
JDM P5 Destroyer 110 stick is an excellent little popper rod, but if I threw them all the time I'd get the dedicated Pop-x stick they have in the same line. If money is no object, those JDM P5 rods are really amazing. I wish I had more of them that's for sure.

The latest sale thread
TW might have screwed up their website to Nth degree, but since they put a warehouse in GA, it's stupid convenient to buy from them again. I get my orders in about 48hrs now vs. a week+ before the new warehouse. I think the new warehouse solved lots of their issues.

2024 Livescope/FFS prediction
Yeah Zaldain had the same deal as Milliken, but then had a rear transducer IIrc, and while he was at the wrap shop they looked at Fujita's rig which had 4 IIrc. I watch too many of these YT fishing videos lol, watched like 4-5 of these pro's walk through videos. To me one transducer seems fair, they already got 360.

If no electronics, then why?
Watching DDs swim beneath you from a Mexican cliffside.......man I'm doing life wrong 🤣

2024 Livescope/FFS prediction
Woody, the Crappie Brakes are to stop the boat's forward momentum without having to do it with the front TM.....hints the name "brakes". Still kind of silly, but then again I'm not a FFS user.

Favorite spinnerbait brand?
@gimruis Crazy how nobody has tried to recreate them, buy the old design, whatever, just bring something like them to market. Why hasn't anybody made an A-Rig like them either.....makes me super paranoid fishing with them as is because even without fish catches you're always bending those wires into place and then bending them way down for storage. Not a bait maker by any means, but I find it odd that Titanium isn't used more for different applications. Bass anglers have proved to be willing to pay the cost for expensive, and more exotic materials like Tungsten.

This company makes them too, they just buy 30 and 40lb Minn Kota Endura motors and re tool the housings. SeeBrakes – SeeLite (seeliteleds.com) Last year when Fujita was running 4 transducers the fishing world's head exploded......this year over 50% of the anglers will be running 2+ transducers, 22" screens are being utilized, and now 10-20 guys will be running Crappie Brakes. Eventually BASS is going to realize the vast majority of the audience can't relate to $100k+ bare boned glitter rockets with 25-50k of tech shoved on them imho. Even Garmin has realized this, recently when the Johnston brothers were interviewed about FFS and this upcoming season, they brought up how some guys are even using the saltwater FFS transducers that shoot 600ft lol. When asked if Garmin pushes that stuff on the pros, they said no because Garmin wants them to showcase their mainstream/non niche product which is the LVS 34 transducer. This was very telling to me. Nascars were anything but stock, but there's a reason why they use the term stockcar and they make them to look more like a normal car than an F1 cart. There's also a reason why every major pro sport standardizes the equipment the competitors use. Lastly, I doubt this was Ray Scott's vision considering how he appreciated seeing a level playing field.

2024 Livescope/FFS prediction
Oh I'm not arguing that some guys refuse to let it lead the cart, especially stud hammers like Christie and Cox, I mean two of the best pre FFS pros to ever do it. I just listened to a podcast with Hackney or some other pro, and they went down the list of last year's winners, all the winners relied heavily on FFS. The Sabine River with Mosley winning with FFS and Bubba Shotting was the most telling imho. The problem I have now is that some folks like Milliken really, really try to downplay the success and amount they relied on FFS. I watched all of Milliken's weighed in fish this year because he posts the Open videos, and 9/10 fish were caught using FFS, yet when interviewed about the % of fish caught using it, he said something VASTLY lower. Some folks hate the idea of being known as scopers and thusly act like it's not the absolute game changing tech our eyes tell us it is. I've come to terms with the fact FFS is the future, its completely reinvented fishing, not just for Bass guys. I just want folks to accept and admit the mind boggling way in which it changes the game. Every catch, every win, every DD fish should be viewed whether it was caught with or without FFS imho......one's not worse than the other, but they're very different. The guy out there in a tin boat with no electronics catching a 10.6 is a world away from a guy out there with two LVS 34s on the TM, one at the cockpit, and Crappie Brakes on poles in the back who catches a similar 10.6 IMHO.

Should be Flashing Wakasagi, but as Jedi said, if the actual product has a color name on it, it's in Japanese. I use Digitaka's website to find the color names. RV DRIFT FRY 3.0" ( 5 pcs/pack) FLASHING WAKASAGI (digitaka.com)

2024 Livescope/FFS prediction
Every event was won in part with the usage of FFS including the Sabine River Rivet used FFS almost exlusively on his big O win. Caught over 80% of his weighed fish on a Jerbait that he watched live. Same deal happened the next event at a fishery where FFS shouldn't play.....Cowboy won Seminole using a dropshot and FFS. With all due respect, everybody remembers FFS wins because every single win can largely be attributed to FFS usage, or at least that's the winning "technique".

Favorite spinnerbait brand?
The OG Terminators made with real Titanium They're not just a special spinnerbait, I'd rank them as one of the all time best lure designs. The Titanium wire not only is vastly durable and superior in strength but it seems to flex better than modern day normal wired spinnerbaits. You get that bait ball reaction better on rod pops.

So Yall Want To Learn Toledo Bend?
Fishing straight up Catt Style.......a jig in 12fow IIrc 😎 They were on them apparently the day before so well that they had a social media guy come film for that particular bag, so hopefully the footage comes out. It's mind boggling how young this sport is getting, I was obsessed with fishing at their ages, but 50lb bags weren't even in my dreams or vocab. Just amazing!

So Yall Want To Learn Toledo Bend?
Bump, I've never been more excited for a BASS derby than the upcoming Elite Series stop.....it's gonna be epic, century belts and few DDs is my prediction. Caney Lake is also going gang busters right now, a pair of college age dudes pulled a 45 and 50lb+ bag a week or two ago on it. Great time to be a LA Bass angler.

2024 Livescope/FFS prediction
Over half the events will be won a spinning rod, and some sort of 3-5" swimbait (FFS exclusively) Another 1/4th of he events will be won on a whacky/senko worm ( spawning sight fish, but some will still be caught on FFS with this technique) Last 1/4th of the events will be won on a combo of a C-Rig, Dropshot, Deep crank, Glide, and Beaver style bait. (most of which will be caught using FFS) Interesting thought though as I noticed what you have with Zaldains and Millikens boat walk through videos. Bass fishing would be a vastly better thing if this happens, nobody is easier to root for than Cox. Guys like Welcher would likely abandon FFS, many of these topflight pro's savant level technique skills have been rendered relatively useless in the face of FFS which in of itself is the king of techniques imho.

How are Oneten's made...????
They're made in China now IIrc. I imagine they get inspected in Japan though.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Do it! We always need another tackle warehouse in the state 🤣😎 @gimruis is right sadly, we become vampires in July and August. 90d nights are hardly fishable. Not to mention those northern fish seem so eager to bite once the season is open. Those fish get to reset every winter.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Local monkey trap has been on fire lately. In about 10 days, my shop already raised the price from $11.99 to $12.99. Amazes me it took 3 years for Americans to catch on to the Drift Fry, and really it took Fujita winning an Elite Series event with them to jumpstart it. I'm not even through two baits, and I've caught almost 100 fish on them.

When will a lady angler haver her own fishing show?
I called you a unicorn when we first met for a reason Katie 😉 Obviously, this is an old thread, now anybody can and does have a fishing show, and that's their social media presence and specifically their Youtube channels. If you happen to be good in front or around a camera, you could have a big channel, something I've said before. When Milliken was fishing in roadside ditches he was more watchable than he is now catching DDs on the scope. Folks including myself crave unique and entertaining content besides educational. I just watched an hour of a fish geek micro fish for .5-3" mostly sunfish. You're different, and that's very marketable. A GoPro/dozen batteries/128g micro SD card isn't much added weight, and if you learn to edit, bam you got yourself a lady fishing show. I stopped pushing it, but you'd be doing the world, and selfishly me a huge favor if you chose to share some of your awesome trips. A video is worth a million pics.

Looking for new 3 inch bait for 1/8th oz. jig head
Since OP is dealing with Spotted Bass, durability should only be second to performance. Spots cost me so much extra money in bit off tails and appendages/etc. The Armor Shad really lives up to the name. A dab of superglue and each one is good for 25-50 fish.

Looking for new 3 inch bait for 1/8th oz. jig head
Damiki Armor Shad with the paddle tail would be another great option. If you like fishing 3-4" swimbaits on a jighead, you might want to try mid strolling.
