  1. This will be my first year with it for punching/Top water. It was my Trig reel until I decided to get a Zillion. If my dumb brain remembers, I’ll let you know once I do get to use it.
  2. Current lineup but I like to tinker with combos so I’m sure it’ll change by the end of the year. I have even more reels and rods but this is the go to for tournaments/what I keep on the boat.

Ok, now I’m in the mood to watch Pulp Fiction.
  4. Nice! I live in West Des Moines but work in DSM. If you’re looking for someone to fish with, I’m more than happy to rip lips with you.
  5. @Joedodge If you dont mind me asking, where in Iowa are you?
  6. Im fishing at a dirty pond after work. I'll ask them.

My first thought is the Ray Rice incident. If youre fishing in BASS tournaments then absolutely you are correct. I just dont think the general public needs to know every detail IMO. Also I agreed with @Pumpkin Lizard about this thread but you know when one might come to an end sometimes.

I do too and I also agree but I've seen others get shut down for less.
  9. Looks like I need a new rod then. Thanks bait monkey...I mean Brian

No way this thread stays open much longer. lol

I never said or assumed BASS is handling it correctly or not. My point is, the public does not need all the information presented to them at all times. It doesnt concern us like it does the anglers. Are you this up in arms when a NFL player gets in trouble and you dont get all the information you think you need?

Anglers, yes. Members who get a monthly magazine, no. Again, keep it in house and move on.
  13. St. Croix LTB 7'2 M/MF, lure weight is 5/16-7/8oz, $315

BASS doesnt need to be transparent to the public. Deal with it in house and move on.

I didnt know that about Martin. Yikes! This article and the Martin DQ thread did not age well. https://www.bassmaster.com/column/bryan-brasher/mad-respect-for-scott-martin/
  16. You're right. It's time for some self reflecting again.
  17. Maybe im missing something but why does it matter? Its an ad for fishing line.
  18. At least you have a bunch of ponds on I-80 I get to look at on the way to Colorado.
  19. Welcome to the land of 10 lakes. I usually start with a jig, Cbait and wacky or trig worm.
  20. KOC was a big part in Darnold's success last season. Arthur Smith is a good OC that could keep it going if Sam ends up at Pitt.
  21. It was annoying but they still work great. They have updated to a mat finish now but are still selling off the ones that chip(got some from Omnia the other day)
  22. OutKast Cage Feider is my favorite compact jig. It is short on the hook size but I just bite off some of the plastic.
  23. Got all my JDM reels from eBay and haven’t had any issues. Like others have said, check the sellers account and make sure they’re legit.
