You know what I find really funny? Even if the SEC tiebreaker was in place and Texas was heading to the Big XII Championship game, Oklahoma is still #2 in the BCS and would play for the National Championship without the hassle of playing Mizzou this weekend!

How do they pick the lowest seed? BCS ranking! The BCS is still being used to pick the division champs and it's still out of the hands of the conference!

I'm going to the Big XII Championship game this weekend and I need an idea for a sign to hold up. I'm thinking something like a postcard with "Dear Bevo, wish you were here?".

I am a big fan of the .270 win. My second choice would be .30-06. It would be hard to go wrong with either one. I did have a 7mm rem mag at one time and I really liked it, but that thing didn't killl a deer any deader that a .270 at 300 yards.

Thank you, KU_Bassmaster! I am so tired of hearing Texas fans whine about this. My favorite complaint is when they say that the Big XII should not have let the BCS decide the South Division champs. I keep hearing about how they should eliminate the lowest ranked team (Texas Tech) and go with the head to head from the higher ranked teams. Someone please explain to me how that is taking the BCS out of the equation! Here's my prediction for next season. 1. The Big XII will change their tiebreaker rules. 2. Oklahoma will defeat Texas. 3. Oklahoma will lose a later season game. 4. There will be another three way tie. 5. Texas will be ranked above Oklahoma, but due to the new rules, OU will once again go to the Big XII championship game. 6. Texas fans will once again cry that they got cheated.

thetr20one and grimlin, I hope you didn't take that as a personal attack. That was not my intention. I hear comments like that all the time and I just wanted to share my thoughts. I won't get into a religious discussion here, but most of those idiots who blow themselves up in the name of martyrdom are not Iraqi. They are uneducated and therefore easily influenced foriegn fighters. Most of them can't even read the Qur'an.

Those of us who have patroled the streets of Iraq understand that we are not at war with the Iraqi people. We are dealing with an insurgency that wishes to disrupt a struggling, new democracy. There are bad apples among them, but the Iraqis in general are just people trying to make it in a war torn country. grimlin, while the American public may be ready for the troops to come home, you won't hear too many Soldiers complain. Sure, we would like more time between deployments (and more pay), but we realize that there are good people over there who will suffer if we leave before the job is done.

Yes, I'm a Ft Hood Soldier. I actually requested to come here just for the fishing. The reason I live in Nolanville is because of its proximity to both Belton and Stillhouse. I can be at either one in about 15 minutes. Stillhouse really is a good lake. I seem to catch more fish at Belton, but better quality at Stillhouse. I kept planning to come up and try out Lake Waco, but it's hard to leave this good fishing.

Where were you? Waco Lake? I hit Stillhouse this morning and didn't do much better.

Has anyone ever donated anything to Goodwill? I'm starting to pack up my apartment and I'm finding a lot of stuff that I don't really want or need anymore. It's mostly clothes and toys that my kids have outgrown, but it's still in good shape and I don't want to just throw it all away. Do they have seperate donation centers or do you just take a big box of crap to the Goodwill store and say "here you go"?

I would be more impressed if they would have ridden up the hill!
