@bulldog1935 I really appreciate all the info, poking around it looks like they're priced a bit above my head, for just the grip/seat I can't swing that right now. Feel like my best bet is bumping into an old pistol grip speed stick at a garage sale or something. I'd rather not a pistol grip, but beggers and be choosers and I just like the idea of a recessed grip, it looks quite ergonomic.

Necessary is my point, now you're informed. I've shared my experiences and knowledge and you can make a more informed decision. Of course we take all reviews with a grain of salt, you could have a great experience with any of those companies. But I share why I recommend avoiding them, and then you go with them anyway and have a bad experience, it could've been avoided. Plus being quiet about our experience just empowers the companies to abuse their position over the consumer. I tried writing a review of a product on one of those vendors websites and they kept deleting it, it was an honest review about my experience and they hid it from the public. That is deceptive and dishonorable, and you would never be warned if I kept it to myself. I don't just write companies off because of one minor inconvenience, I don't put companies on blast for no good reason. I often give second chances, and the biggest thing is customer service. After I speak with a company and they double down on their deception or poor customer service, I'm comfortable sharing that with the public. My point is that the community needs to be able to have open and honesty discussions about their experiences with products or companies, because that's how we learn and grow and make better choices. And sometimes companies start to feel the backlash and they make changes to improve. I'm not just out here talkin trash, I'm trying to inform people and maybe make a company take a closer look at themselves

They also didn't make much effort to upgrade their system security. Kistler makes killer rods and has killer customer service American Tackle has some shady business practices, but has some decent products. Also some junk products Harry' Diner has the most incredible steak bomb and home made onion rings I care about people more than a companies public facing reputation, especially if they don't serve the people they can deal with the honesty I put out about them. You fellas have any more to say about glow in the dark baits at night?

Real talk I've bumped into some chunks casting to nothing, makes it hard bot to always waste 6 hours blind casting in every direction with no electronics, but I guess that's the difference between fishing and hunting fish (livescope) I think a rat or some other wake is going on my shopping list, but I have a hard time dropping over 20 bucks on a lure right now, hard to justify with all the crap that I already have.

Any specific ones? Colors? I basically can only fish at night, so daytime colors have been a lot less of a concern the past couple years. I've been stocking up on black everything haha But some people say just throw whatever you threw during the day
