  1. Same here
  2. He’s a 800lb gorilla
  3. A couple of years ago I picked up two BG 2500’s and a Eliminator 2500. $70 each on the BG’s and $40 for the Eliminator. I’m looking at shotgun presses right now.
  4. I still have my first baitcaster. A 4600cb that I bought in 85 or 86. It’s well worn but still keeps chugging along.
  5. Need has nothing to do with it ?
  6. I was against it for years. Then I got bored and figured I’d try it. It’s a blast.
  7. I’ve got a half dozen of various flavors of SLX’s, a couple of Fuego CT’s and I’m down to my last Tatula. I like them in that same order.
  8. Especially one who doesn’t fall for fads and gimmicks.
  9. My wife and I saw Clint Black last night. Good show.
  10. You’ve got 41 reels and haven’t had a need for oil? Does not compute.
  11. I’ve not had any trouble with it going through guides.
  12. I’ve got a NFC blank 7’3” Helium LMH. It’s one of my favorites. I also recently got a Helium 7’6” heavy. I haven’t used it yet..
  13. If I see a “Just broke my 5th rod” post I’ll throw up.
  14. Calling out a SME that makes his living in the same field is usually not a great idea....
  15. The one that broke on me was also a Sierra. They did send another same day no charge.
  16. The only rod I’ve ever had break on me while fishing was also a Dobyns. First cast even.
  17. I was shooting a 3 gun match a couple of years ago. Forgot my hat. I had a piece of brass bounce off the wall of the shoot house and it came in behind my glasses. That stuff is pretty hot right out of the gun and onto your eyelid. Good times.
  18. This. I throw unweighted plastics on a LMH no problem. Not doing that on a heavy regardless of the reel.
