I did google lens several times and always came up with a spook, lol...will take a look at those, thanks. HaHa yeah I usually put bigger hooks on stuff and the original were rusted out since I found it on shore over the winter.But yup those sections are hook wear marks, been fishing it a lot lately and catching pretty good anount of fish with it just nothing large but last week probably caught close to 60 fish on it. It walks really good and I have tried larger and smaller spooks but they seem to prefer this one so I keep throwing it, lol.

This was one of my lake finds this past winter and its been getting hammered and I wanted to pick up some additional units. I originally thought it was just a spook jr, but there are no markings on the lure and it does have rattles, not a one knocker but one big and bigger balls. Note the black color around the eye and the yellow on the bottom of the head. Ignore the hooks since I have replaced those, it looks just like a spook and walks good and catches fish but maybe it was an older model. Do they make a rattlin spook junior?

Actually can be better, there jh price is higher than basspro or academy price. If tou chat with them they should price match the other price, they have in the past.

Welp I can say the Fulton xlt is the nicest trailer jack that I have owned. I hope somehow the new owners will bring stuff back to market. Most trailer jacks have 1 or 2 zerks for grease. This Fulton has 3, the bottom where the wheel is has a ball bearing race to make it easier to move the wheel and has a zerk to keep it geeased up.

My jack came in yesterday and the build quality is SO MUCH better than the other ones that I had used. It did cost more but so much better build quality, hope they can continue on. Will be putting it on hopefully today.

Welp that would explain why the one I was looking for was nowhere to be found. The website is still up so not sure what the latest status, hopefully I will not have any issues, so much for the 5 year warranty, lol.

I used to do this stuff for may day job and still do it after retiring, if you ever need someone to work the IT issues hit me up would be glad to help.

First off, was it just me or has the forum been down for over a day.... I ended up ordering a fulton trailer jack, appears to be nice but doesnt appear that they are making them any longer but found one at fleet and farm....might show up tomorrow....

Old guy been greasing fittings for well ya know....guess what I picked up after that happened....just makes it a whole lot easier all the way around...live and learn.

That was the first one that I had and one of the zerk fittings broke off on the grease gun. Since it was still under warranty Basspro replaced it with a cheaper version, should have requested the same version but it was a dutton lainson dlx. If Fleet and Farm does not have the Fulton that I ordered I will probably go back to the dutton lainson dlx version.

Found one listed on fleet and farm, will be interesting to see if they actually have it or not. For whatever reason the model I am looking for appears to have been discontinued, looks nice but even west marine had it listed on the site as discontinued.

Yup that is what I am trying to find but for whatever reason they don't appear to be making them any longer, I have emailed them and guess we will see what they say.

Pretty unbelievable but my 2 year old boat is on it's second trailer jack, the first one a zerk fitting would not release and broke off when trying to grease it and Basspro replaced it with an even cheaper model and now it had a piece of plastic at the bottom that has broken off...sigh. Anyone know of any brands that still make a decent trailer jack, I looked at one of the Fulton but appears not to be found anywhere. Just thought I would ask, looking for a 1500lbs, 12in lift side frame mount.

Just the other day I watched a video talking about this although it was whacky rigged. I went out an bought 2 bags of zoom trick worms, 1 in bubblegum and the other in methiolate...have teied it a little bit in bubblegum and not a bite so far...but sounds like it does work so maybe just keep trying....

Ollies got me again, their pricing leaves a lot to be desired since it must be based on how much of something they have. They have tattle traps the original Bill Lewis but have them priced ar 5.99, i know that its cheaper than retail but not by much, anyway done with my rant... They had multiple boxes of soft plastics, Netbait paca craws all sizes and lots of googan plastics. I know many not a fan of googan and twnd to agree but some of the plastics are decent like the krackin craw in different sizes along with stick baits and drop shot etc...the NetBait and Googan plastics were all 1.99 per packet...so of course I had to *cough* get a few.

Take it from an older dude, I know its easy to think your better but its better to bite the bullet and just recover properly. Otherwise you end up making thjngs worse and making recovery even longer...just do what the doctor says to do, frustrating but better in the long run. I missed almost a whole year of fishing due to two open heart surgeries, 6 months apart, so trust me I can relate.. Hope both you folks recover fully and can soon get back into it full swing.

I tried a lot of different things today, fluke (weighted), whacky, squarebill, buzzbait, pop-r, small underspin swimbait, spinnerbait, bladed jig. I caught some dinks on squarebill, couple of dinks on bladed jig and one keeper on bladed jig. I guess I have a lot of other things to try as mentioned above, I did not throw any bottom baits pretty much all moving baits. Next on the list will be a swimjig, weightless trig trick worm, d-bomb and maybe a compact jig. Just crazy that things were on fire couple weeks ago and now its really slow, one here one there etc, nothing that I can pattern etc...will be going back out on wednesday. Was bluebird skies and I went out in the afternoon time frame.

Bummer about the injury, hope it heals up quicker than they think and hou can get out there soon...

Nice explanation, in my case its a smaller body of water (600 acres) and the upper end is really stained from all the rain, chocolate milk and the lower is clearer but lightly stained maybe 1-2ft visibility. Kind if been throwing the same things, chatter, spinner, jig, squarebill some buzz. I was just thinking of what else to try, i think I will tie on a pop-r and a fluke and maybe a prop bait...just wasnt sure during this period what would be better to try. In my reaponse i left out whacky rig trick worm...i think all my zoom trick worms have salt but I fish a small weedless hook with my whacky rig and could just trig the worm instead, thanks.
