don't want to hold myself out as an expert ... but ... this seems much safer and more stable ... a jon boat has a flat bottom allowing you to have access to shallow water ... the above might not be as able to do so as well.. that being said i've never been in the above ... i'd inspect it for leaks and the like before making an offer ... i always go by the maximum weight for capacity ...then go fishing with it ... good fishing ...
