this morning the bass were busting the shad ... good sign the state's efforts to renovate the lake are working ... good to see that happening again ... however ... the fishing was really tough ... glad to catch two 14 inch bass ..... and watching the wolfpack bass annihilate the shad was fun ... good fishing ...

dad took me to some farm ponds in rural sc ... set me up with a zebco and a cage full of crickets ... caught my share of bluegills ... got me hooked ... his fishing buddy a sgt. in u.s. army took the time to show me how to bass fish on those farm ponds ... he once held the state record for the largest lmb in the state of sc where he caught it on a fort jackson sc pond ... early in the morning ... mitchell spinning reel and rebel minnow lure .. i was a lucky young man ... good fishing ...

you live in a very nice highly desirable area to live ... i've moved liked you and it can be frustrating to find a groove to fish new places ... finding those places ... and the tactics and presentations that work ... can take up to a yr. to learn and fully adapt to the new area ... be persistent and patient ... embrace the challenge ... the bass are there ... fishing has been tough in many places ... good fishing...
