I've heard of people trying to stay the whole day.Eating 4-6 hours with an hour or so breaks. I find that wrong.

Jack Dempsey...They don't get as big as oscars,but they sure are more aggressive.I made the mistake of putting a jack dempsey with an oscar...guess what,jack dempsey tore that oscar apart. I had to get rid of the oscar or jack.I ended up keeping the jack dempsey. If i had to start all over again The jack would be my choice,specially with a small tank.Oscars grow too big.You need atleast a 55 gallon for a oscar.They grow extremely fast.

I'm taking in all this information.Learned a thing and two now.

Where redlinerobert has already been too...fishing for peacock bass. I pray to be able to do this once before i die.

I just hope he doesn't release it when it outgrows that tank. :-/ I don't like snakeheads myself either.

I have one game warden who knows me now.I like to chit chat with them if they have the time. ;D You can learn a thing or two from them. I always found talking to them respectful and being honest they won't give you a hard time.A copy of your birth will solve the problem though as well.

Well what exactly are you using? Type of rod,it's action rating,hook size ect,ect? A fish may hit the frog several times before taking it into it's mouth,could be you are setting the hook too early?

The baitmonkey's grandpa works his charm there ;D...Many people leave there with purchases of boats.I'm going to the one in michigan on jan. 13.It starts here on jan. 10 and runs till 13th.It's the only day i can make it. Looking forward to it,it's gonna be my first one i've been to.

Yeah, and they will catch fish too! I always have confidence in Berkley baits.... The fish here seem to love berkley baits as well.I'll pick up a pack for sure if it isn't too costly.Knowing berkley they seem to be fair in their pricing.

That thing is just too long for my liking.No room in my tackle box for those things.Plus i don't trust bill dance.That man could throw a lure that looks like poop and catch fish. ;D

I won't pay over $100 for a spinning reel. :-/

I can cast farther with a round reel than a low profile....weird. I love my 5500.Since these reels are cheaper than the low profile reels i usually look at i might just be adding some more of these reels to my collection.

I'm a big,big fan of will smith's acting....Looking forward to see this movie next weekend.

Decide what you want to try in 2008 fishing? Last year was my serious fishing year and i wanted to master the jig.So i brought nothing but jigs and trailers.Think about what you want to do. I don't have alot of money so i come up with a technique i want to work on once a year.2008 will be my year of treble lures(topwater,jerkbaits and cranks).I really want to get better at treble lures.Already have my confidence in jigs so that'll make 2 things i'll be better at by 2009.

We under a winter warning right now(12 inch snow)...i'm staying in and watch the ball drop.Ate enough fried food i feel like i gained 10 pounds this weekend.

Yeah,i need to add that one on my list tonight as well... ;D

Try to calm down a little.I get worked up for the smallest things sometimes. And to get a better limit of fish on my outings.Looking to catch 3-5 pounders more often.Gonna have to work even harder because i'm shorebound.

A girl gave me my nickname....said i reminded her of a cute little gremlin(the movie).I was a bit of a trouble maker being funny.Hence the name stuck for 12 years to this day.Plus for some reason i like the color green so i wore green alot,even had my hair green for a short period of time. :-[

As a newbie i must say...this place ain't that bad. 8-) Great hang out for the hard water days,bad weather days and the days i just can't get out on the water. A big thank you for the guys who put this site together.Hope to learn many,many new tricks for next year. Keep on fishing!
