But there's some good news...they don't get that "extra money" this year...they disqualify for it from my understanding.

It's a small handle on the problem,but we still have them.I still haul in 10-20 of those things once in awhile on bottom baits.I hate em,they do damage to line as well.

Sometimes mid sept. of 07',after skunking out i gave up in early NOV. and haven't went fishing since.Boy i can't wait for spring,i'm just not a winter fisher.... ;D

If not that deep i advise to stay away.I have a bunch of honey holes where i fish when water warms up,but come winter time I couldn't catch anything but a cold in those spots. If you can look for a map of your lake and find the deep points that will help.Just go to your DNR wildlife site and try and find the map of the lake you will be fishing. I do however know how you feel though. ;D I haven't fished since early NOV. 07'. We got a bass season here....just imagine how i feel when i know where warm water is and i can't fish it yet unless i go after walleyes or bluegills.

If you know where the drop offs are you can still fish. As long as there's no ice i don't see where it's not worth a try.Just fish the deeper water. beware it's gonna be "slow"! Key word....SLOW DOWN

not 100% sure,but i believe i saw on trey bretta on VS channel use that and a helicopter came and found him.A little demonstration of how well it worked.

Stay away from it.....I've had bad experience with them as of many others i know. That "free product" is just to pull you in.

They are good rods...i've been using mine all year last year and it held up with alots of abuse.I got mine as a combo set. If i had to i would buy another one.Honestly i like cabela's rod's better than the extremes.

To be fair...that can be considered suicide. :-/ I think i rather stick with my fishing life and watch my kid grow up a little longer than he did...

Winter.....can't fish for bass right now either.Season is closed.

I have the accurist PT500,it's a decent reel but don't think it's worth the $130 price tag on it.If it was $89-$99 then it's a reel worth looking into.IMO
