So much for offering thorough advice. : I was the one who started this topic, and ASKED for advise. So... I was not offering any advise. Some people think it really doesn't matter and effect bass fishing that much when you got crap on your hands.I'm kinda one of them. I've ran my hands in just plain water for a few seconds and then jet out the door to fish the pond at my work. I usually have hydraulic fluid,Oil,grease smell on my hands. I still catch fish. You might think people aren't offering advice,but they are....DON'T LOOK TOO MUCH INTO IT. I don't use anything special for my hands,just regular soap or body soap the night before I get out to go fishing.

That blows.All we got was rain...We getting lucky.If it was still frozen around here I'd go nuts.

You'll wonder why you brought pre-made C-rigs after you make your own.It's ridiculously easy and much cheaper. Good tip using the tolient paper cardboard roll. never thought of that one.

I just filled a 3600 plano box of his jigs over the winter ....I got another 3700 box somewhere as well filled to the top. I like his jigs a little too much...LOL

Open up your precious curado E7 and pull out the spool.Notice all those grooves inside the wall frame. Yet it doesn't effect performance. You must have been CNC machinist to even notice those flaws on the handle on that Quantum. I still don't haven't had any problems with my Accurist reels.

Personally,I don't think it matters much,because odor does disperse pretty quickly in water.I fish during break and I still have Oil on my hands after handling my bait and I really haven't notice much difference in my bite rate last year.There's bigger roles in getting a bass to bite something than just on smell alone.

;D too cute....When my dog does something bad while we are gone,he actually hides when we come home.Then about 5 minutes later he'll peep around the hallway and see if we notice what he did. ;D

Not bashing the Shimano posse, but there's an awful lot of "monkey see-monkey do" going on around here. There are lots of good reels out there, but you're about to covered up with Citica/Curado recommendations. I just said shimano because it would be cool to pair it with a shimano rod.If you going to buy a shimano rod why stop there? Personally me,I'd be putting a Revo STX or a Dawia Fuego on it....I really don't have much bad to say about Shimano,abu garica or Dawia upper end reels.It's all personal preference if you asked me.

Can't really go wrong with a shimano citica or a curado.Depends on how much money you looking to spend.

I just ordered $30 of fat albert and chomper grubs. I use mainly green pumpkin or watermelon colors.I don't think scent makes much of a difference. One might argue the fish may hold on a little longer if you are late on a hookset.Scent can be used as a confidence booster as well.

My wife worked with a football player from Detroit lions at McDonald's a few years back. I say sent their ***** to McDonald's and the likes doing it minimum wage and that 350K a year salary will look highly acceptable to them again.

I might be putting my curado E7 up for sale soon.Might just keep it and put it away for awhile too...I like my STX better. :-/ They are both good reels though. Too many baitcasters and none of them are really getting used like they should be. I'm going to primarily be fishing Daiwa Fuego and Revo STX this year. I'd like to pick up a pixy or a sol. who knows though..My momey is going toward other things besides fishing right now.
