yes we do.....But when bank fishing you are limited to what you can carry..... : I've put on a 3/8 jig head with a tube then add another 3/8 bullet weight.How's that for innovation of getting a faster fall rate? I'm the only person i know that'll do that.Sounds stupid but it works!

Actually you are right Catt.I will agree with that. However,when fishing from the bank,I find that the heavier the weight the more it'll spook the crap out of the fish.On "most" days. If i want to count how many fish i caught on a lighter weight than a heavier weight let say over 1/2 oz. My numbers of fish caught dramatically higher on a smaller weight.Why is that? I've been having skunk days every time i pull out a 3/4 or 1 oz jig... Plus when walking the bank you don't want to be carrying around 25 pounds of just weight.3/8 oz most of the time is heavy enough to work for a faster rate of fall.

When i walk banks,which i mostly do, I have everything from 1/16-3/8.The lighter you can get away with the better.

I've lost 25 pounds in 3 months...It's all about watching what you eat. As far as working out,I'm picking up steel 8-10 hours a day 6 days a week.Plus my machine requires walking up and down massive amount of stairs.No reason to hit the gym for me yet. ;D Since I'm eating better so is my wife...she has me beat...30 pounds total so far.

I can't pick one either.....All 3 excite me. The whole perspective of catching that fish from start to finish is just awesome.

You'll be finding yourself throwing those in the garbage once you fish them once. They are "ALWAYS" on clearance at walmart.For a good reason too...they pull in every sucker who hasn't tried them yet.

I agree with this as well.....I don't know her parents,but i do know most parents are crappy parents nowadays and kids get away with a lot of stuff than we did back in the day. How many times do we hear kids doing stuff and just getting a slap on the hands instead of paying the consequences? Or worst yet the school gets "sued" because they tried disciplinary action? Was it overboard? Maybe...but i bet it taught her a dang good lesson and she won't do it again. The 5 year old story is a different one...One i won't agree with.But this girl wasn't 5 years old....

I bet with all the active posters here that post and buy...we clear well over a million dollars in spending every winter. This is like the 20th "bait monkey got me" thread I've read so far.

Get a replacement tip in any store.Then read that post by LAO162 Just remember,the action is now a little slower. I've done it before and my rod is still usable and works great.I've caught well over 60 bass on that rod last year.I actually like my rod much,much more now that I've broken off 2"......Funny how that works.

It really is a hard line to find.I'm in the same boat....I've tried P-line,Trilene,BPS XPS,Stren and vicious. I liked BPS XPS fluorocarbon the best right now. But I'm ready to pull the trigger on the Sunline Fluorocarbon.It's a bit pricey,however everybody that I've talked to say it's the best and most manageable fluorocarbon on the market right now.

I do almost every season during the winter.I stock up on my usual favorite baits and terminal tackle. My new baits to try by SK rage tails.

Let me know how they perform and withhold the abuse of a fish.
