  1. This is the exact reason why i tend to shy away from digital scales. Doesn't seem to be worth the trouble for me.
  2. I'm going to have to say the same for me as far as state records.Take a picture, get the measurements(for replica) and let the big girl go and not say a thing about it.Our lakes get hit hard already....no sense in bringing more pressure. A world record however....That's a hard one. However I'm pretty sure there really isn't any world record fish here,so that's not something i concern myself with. Guess i can't say till I'm put in that situation either.
  3. If that was me it would be 3 choices...I currently use all 3 lines. #1.Yo-Zuri hyrbrid Ultra soft 6# test #2.P-line CXX 6# test #3. Trilene XL 12# test As far as line color i generally use green color line.
  4. The first lure i ever used was a Eppinger Dardevle.I caught anything & everything that swam with those things.
  5. No.....
  6. This is sick.... Read some of those comments on that page as well... :-X

    Adorable! Congrats!
  8. HECK YEAH! I'm addicted to this show!
  9. I don't even want to think about it..... Last year i spend a half an hour on this one spot every weekend. It was loaded with fish......Let's just say it looks like a Bass fisherman's Christmas tree now.I'd lose 4-5 lures in that spot every time.
  10. My wife calls it an addiction.... I call it a Hobby..... ;D
  11. When i was 6 I threw the entire rod and reel in the water...I "forgot" to hang on to it. I was 10,got my first spinning reel combo.First cast i somehow manage to hook myself in the arm.To the E.R. i went...I didn't know i was suppose to open the Bail arm before casting. Also guilty of trying a Baitcaster before understanding how to use it....I used up an entire 1200 yrds of line in 3-4 hours of fishing. Backlash after backlash.I ended up throwing it in the garbage before heading home.$50 right in the garbage can. :
  12. Why not consider some higher up Daiwa reels as well? I LOVE my daiwa spinning reels...
  13. Man,that's hard to say......
  14. I've been caught in a concert riot once.....Tear gas is some nasty, nasty stuff....
  15. If it doesn't work for me,it doesn't make my list of "favorites".
  16. Grimlin....Named after the movie character "The Gremlins"....Some reason i always reminded people of those little gremlins running haywire."When" i had hair i had green streaks running down both sides....That also probably helped them give my nickname a little bit. It's been my nickname for years.....and still is. "The Gremlins" was also my favorite movie growing up. ;D...I realize i spell it with an "I" instead of an "E"...There's really no significant reason for that other than that's just the way i spell it... :-[ It seems childish...i know.... ;D
  17. What's wrong with the new one? I went to a game there last year and I thought it was awesome. They put it in a BAD location.....right next to the Rangers stadium.....It's already crowded down there. Why they put the football stadium there as well has me scratching my head.Traffic must be crazy on game day....
  18. Spinning gear is used for most weightless plastics for me.No exceptions. I've had a senko fly off on a baitcaster already and it ended badly.I just kept reusing it and reusing it till i should have known the thing was going to come off.Soft plastic will eventually fly off once you catch and use it enough during the day. I use Baitcasters for jigs, spinners or something with a solid weight attached to my line. I'll stick to using spinning gear on weightless plastics.I'm with Sherlock 60 on this one.
  19. Yup....Big fan here.Just got the CD from my wife a few months ago.
  20. I love this quote.....
  21. 90% of the time nothing works...for me. I don't sight fish...I just don't enjoy it either.I rather be casting to structures, drop offs and current breaks.I prefer the game Hide, cast and seek with them. ;D
