Didn't care for it's manageability....too stiff for my liking.It's not as bad as P-line CXX but it's a pretty close second.I also point to the BPS XPS fluorocarbon...I had the least amount of problems with that brand. Then again,I'm not really a big fan of fluorocarbon for main line usage.

That Bait Car show is one of my favorite shows to watch....The excuses they(the car thieves) come up with are just hilarious.I just love their expression when they find out it was actually a cop who planted that car there. ;D

Michigan #48...Explains why i go fishing a lot...it keeps me happy in this depressing state. I will say this though,when i go visit my parents down in TX once in awhile and come back to Michigan,it's almost like i can instantly feel the unhappiness here.After awhile the feeling goes away until you go back to another state and realize you don't want to go back to Michigan....LOL

I don't use the digital one,but i do have the same brand one in 26lb.I like mine.I'm a bit iffy on anything digital because of the fear of breaking them,accidentally leaving it in the sun or dropping it in the water. I also use it for those toothy critters,so it doubles up as a lip gripper as well.

Same here,It's quite sad.My prayers go out to his family as well.Looks like he had a Dark side to him that nobody knew about.

As far as i know yes,you can get the baits at *** as well.It's where i get mine.

That's one and Hag's tornado.There was a big mess awhile back about the copy rights on those baits.I don't know anything further than that.That's all i remember reading.

I use G-man's shaky heads.So they are pretty thick.However you are right,I'm going have to double check those shaky head hooks and make sure they aren't light wire. The jigheads for tubes i use are from a local tackle shop using something very,very similar to Yamamoto's insert jig heads with Gamakatsu hooks.They worked well on my other rod which was a Medium heavy as well. Just curious if powell rod rating are on the heavier side or the lighter side?I don't want to get a MH rod and have it feel more like a Heavy action.If that's the case then I'll be looking more to the medium rods.

Anybody have any experience with the Powell Spinning Rod 6'8" Med Hvy? Looking to use this for shaky heads and tube fishing. Looking for some feedback,seeing as this will have to replace my E21 Edge rod(The green ones they never released in stores).

It does scare me when i see people holding a big fish horizontally with just one hand holding the fish by mouth.Almost looks like that jaw bone is going to snap.Not so much vertically as long as you support it right. Me personally i do the one hand in mouth and the other hand in the back.

Almost 75% of the questions here are "what kind of *insert*(tackle,reel & rod) should i consider buying?". I don't consider it dumb.If i didn't ask some of my questions I may have made some even dumber purchases on my own without any advice... ;D

Had a hook bent out once on what looked like a big Largemouth bass considering the size for up here.Would have easily been a PB for me.For some reason i was skimping on my hook that day using a cheap eagle claw tube jig. Lesson well learned..... I've been after that fish for the past 2-3 seasons now...I know that big girl is still in there....

White/chart. color is a very popular color here.Seeing how KVD is from MI. doesn't surprise me one bit how he incorporated that color into his arsenal and called it "Sexy Shad" color. Every single spinnerbait i buy is usually white/chart.
