I had problems with it too....same issues.It is much stiffer than my normal 12# any line that I've tried. I got so frustrated i stripped it off and put on Trilene XT...never had a single problem again. I flat out don't like P-line CXX as a main line.I use them as leaders,simply because these zebra mussels can't chew through them like they do with braid.

As strong and abrasive resistance as this stuff is....it sucks when it comes to manageability.It's like trying to cast steel wire. I just use this stuff as leaders.

I'm having a hard time refraining from any jokes that might hurt feelings. I must say,it is a fancy hunting dog though......Least you'll be able to put the money spent on the dog to good use.

I believe mine float as well...Very similar to the the rapala floater.They rise to surface slowly. I have to get mine through my parents down in Texas.They are my connection... ;D Sure wish we had them up here. :'(

Was there yesterday.They basically took out their fishing stuff. I hate our new Super Walmarts...everything is getting swapped over.Super walmarts seem to have less stuff than the smaller Walmart chain stores do. > There wasn't any sales there either.
