Mend it these guys are talking about is a soft plastic glue that actually stays soft...made specifically for soft baits. ;D

I'm guessing this must be around the hook holder your rod has on it? I wouldn't worry about them then.Unless they scratched the blank you should be OK.I've heard of somebody putting clear nail polish gloss to fill in the light scratch.I wouldn't recommend doing that though. From now on just cut your lure off after you are done.I don't use those hook holders for storing lure that do have them on the rod.

I agree contact him so he can pay for the return shipping. If he does not respond the the reel is yours. I only purchase from EBay stores and have yet to have a problem. Why? So he can do this to somebody else? Mind you this guy never returned the money or made it right.PayPal gave him(Koopa) the money,not that dude.Paypal has a claim against him now....so,his account probably is now suspended and his Ebay static is now ruined.Giving him the reel back means he will have the reel and money now.because of dudes like him is the reason our fees for using paypal gets higher and higher.Giving the reel back isn't going to fix anything. When you are selling something you need to get all the details and facts down.It was a crappy thing he did and is considered a scam. I would either fix it to get the handle right or gear right,he's going to have to put money into the reel to make it right anyways.If he was given the right reel in the first place none of this would have happened.

I hate Ebay's dispute center....I'm glad they came through for you.Good call on playing it safe! Now just take the money you got back and custom/fix it to your liking. That's what i would do.Pimp it out.... ;D

I always join the 401k plan my job has to offer....I don't see any retirement for me until i can't move or work anymore. Basically working till i can't work anymore. :-/

Funny this came up....A few lakes here are loaded with shad the previous 2 year and i almost didn't catching anything worth while.This year i never saw the shads or baitfish and now I'm having some pretty great outings this year. Seems to be continuing still. I'm not saying this is why,but it's something I've taken into consideration. This is why i never got it when people say they can throw in over a school of shad and get bit every time.It never happens that way for me.Fishing is actually harder when there is plenty of baitfish or food. I'm still learning though,perhaps I'll get it right one day.Until then I'll keep trying and learning.

on Huron river. Bass-Ackwards gave you an excellent place to start. I fish Huron quite a bit.Fishing is awesome right now there,but I'm finding more smallmouth than largemouth.It seems to be a window opportunity of when they will bite and when they won't with the LMB. I wish i had a report on Kent lake today,but since they are doing construction around that area this weekend i decided to wait till they are done.Really didn't want to drive out there today. :-[

This statement doesn't even make sense.THIS is my biggest pet peeve about people.Contradiction in it's finest form. Everywhere i fish alcohol is not allowed.If i have to follow it,everybody else does too. If it's allowed by you,then i see no problem with it.As long as people are following the rules and law.

Might help if you mention where at in MI. you looking at.

It bugs me when other people are drinking while fishing.They tend to be loud and rude. I'll save my drinking for after fishing when i get home. I rarely drink,so it's not often you'll see me drinking.

There's a river system here that i fished last weekend,both largemouth and smallmouth bass were all in 6''-3' of water.No joking...6 inches of water i got a LM off of.It was sitting under a broken tree that had fell in the water from a previous storm.

Yes and No.....really depends on the person I'm talking to.So you really have to get to know me before I'll say something. I have Honey Holes/Sweet spots) certain times of the year where i "know" i can catch one or two. People that keep everything regardless of the size limit or the law,I stay "hush,hush" to them.

Softer the tube,slower the action(shimmy side to side bait action),the longer time they hold on. The harder the tube,the faster they fall(straight down to a fast spiral fall), tend to hold on less time.Scent may help the hold time,but not by much. Pay attention to single dip or double dip tubes,they all have different actions and fall rates.Even if you are using the exact same weight. Something I'm beginning to realize,not all tubes are created equal.I might be going crazy,or i discovered some very valuable information. 80% of my fish were caught on various brands of tubes this year pending on what and how aggressive they were feeding that day.I changed out accordingly to the bite.
