What about Marvel oil instead of Seafoam
Sea Foam, Only SeaFoam......... its like Tom Cruise in Risky Business talking about his Dads Porsche "SeaFoam, there is no substitute." 8-)

Using "Sea Foam"
As previously mentioned. If you are using SeaFoam you do not need any other additive. It does it all.......

Michigan???
If you fish the NBAA just log onto their website and it lists ALL of their divisions. I fished in division 60 this past year. They are located all over Mi. Also, try and search for Bass Addicts. It is a local mid michigan non sanctioned circuit with much better payout than NBAA.

anyone ever had
Out of the ocean, No. I have, however, caught a salmon straight out of the Ausable river in Mi. and cut it up on the shore and eaten it with wasabe and soy sauce. Don't forget the cold beer. It was the best I have ever eaten......

Trailer Tire Recommendations
There have been many threads here on BR regarding trailer tires and brands. Many comments have been very negative regarding Goodyear Marathons. Carlisle have always gotten decent reviews here on the site. They are what I recently purchased for my trailer. I have only had them on a few months but so far so good.

Year Old boats
Just wondering but why a new boat now? Just growing tired of the older one? Or tired of older boats?

StClair Smallmouth in the fall
Actually, I loved all the outdoor opportunities in Michigan. I finally couldn't deal with the lack of work, poor housing market, and school layoffs that put my wife and myself out of work. Had to move out to move on. I would move back in the future if the opportunity presented itself.

What can anyone tell me about a Platinum Plus LP100C?
I was going to pick one up as well. I am pretty sure I saw the Platinum model at Wally World for $39 or $49

StClair Smallmouth in the fall
I just moved from Michigan back home to Cincinnati. There are only two things I will miss about Mi. 1. smallie fishing on St.Clair in the spring 2. The highway sign that says "Welcome to Ohio" going south on 23.

Food Poisoning
Ahh Monkfish, aka. the poor mans lobster tail. The monkfish is very prone to carry small parasites. If the fish is not cooked thoroughly you are in for a WILD ride. Sorry bud. On a separate note, Monkfish is fantastic when grilled and served with a lemon wedge and some drawn butter. Just like a lobster tail..

Food Poisoning
What exactly did you eat? And how long before the first wave hit? Most food Poisonings are not really food poisoning but the bodies reaction to something that didn't agree with it. i.e. spice reaction, food alergy etc. Actual food poisoning will occur no earlier than about 4-6 hours after consuming a tainted food. Fever, stomach cramps, severe vomiting, diarhea, and headaches will occur. Depending on a parasite or a viral infection will usually dictate the length and severity of the sickness. Actual poisoning will occur when a raw food or cooked food :-[ :-X is left in the danger zone of 41-140 for more than 4 hours. Bacteria growth will begin to double and triple for every hour left out in that temperature window. Good Luck buddy. drink lots of fluid and stay hydrated.....
