There has been a few threads on here in the past regarding these props. give them a look on the search list. Most of the discussion lead to using them only in emergency situations only. If you are running a motor over 60hp I would only use these in emergency situations at idle speed. There are a few different brands on the market and some that claim they can be used as a full time prop with larger motors. I would not but that's just my opinion

I know I know, STUPID! The icing on the cake was watching the DNR pull over a boat for flying through a group of about 30 boats all withing 50 yards of each other on plane and pulling a tube with two children on it. The best part was it was a 12 year old driving the boat with the father sitting in the bow of the boat....

You all might want to write this one down as well: Do NOT go fishing in the evening on the night before 4th of July at a 300 acre lake filled with 250+ boats filled with drunken pleasure boaters because there is a fireworks show starting at 10pm....... This was quite possibly every fishermans nightmare about boat ramps and pleasure crafts all rolled into on blazing fireball... Never AGAIN :-/ > :'(

Could you be a bit more specific about your boat? What HP is your engine? Is there a jackplate, etc. This may better help the fellas here to diagnose your issue. As for the wiring I have a big ????? 50K is a ton of money to not be happy with the boat. Are you still under factory or dealer warranty? :-/

I'd suggest doing that after a large bass tournament, you'll learn the in's and outs from guys that have been doing it a long time. OTOH, just showing up at boat ramp X on Lake Z on a weekend will surely show you many, many examples on how NOT to load or unload a boat. If nothing else, it's good for a laugh. Agreed!!! Go and watch the launch at a tourney, then go watch a ramp on a Saturday afternoon. You will QUICKLY see the "right" and "wrong" way to do it.... :-/

I was at Wally world today and was looking at the selection of Pinnacle reels. In particular, I was looking at the Platinum and, I believe, the Solene( it was an orangish color) Other than the price, the Platinum was listed at $39, the Solene at $49, they seemed to be identical reels?? same capacity, gear ratio, etc. What exactly is the difference? better parts?

I was just offered a job in my hometown of Cincinnati with the company that I worked for previously. HOME SWEET HOME.... The only issue is there is a severe shortage of lakes in cincy compared to Michigan. (Please do NOT mistake my comments as me being a Michigan lover. My favorite spot in this state is the part that says "welcome to Ohio") But, there are fewer good lakes to fish

I think you all are looking at only the negatives here. Think about the millions of dollars that can now be generated by the outboard manufacturers in advertising: Evinrude Etec: No scheduled maintanance for 3 years AND you can outrun even the quickest pirate while saving money on gas...... : Mercury: Phantom Black, like a pirate flag...... KVD " My Vorado got me away from the pirates quicker than even I expected". Yamaha: The Vmax is a pirate killer, and quiet so you can hear the pirates coming Millions I tell you.............................................

Here is my experience: Bought a bluegill 5-7. First time using it hooked up with about a 30 inch Pike while bass fishing. Got it to the boat, went to grab it, Wiggle, Snap, cut my line and I lost a $12.00 lure. = Ticked and broke Starting tossing my Live Target Perch 7-10. Threw it for the better part of the morning for SMB. Went to make a sidearm cast and smacked the lure on my trolling motor, breaking in in two. Lossed another $12.00 lure. = Ticked and even more broke Moral of the story: Great baits and will catch fish but if you are frugal about your money and possible money lost get a cheaper bait.

Try this 1-2lbs of fillets (bass, crappie, walleye, etc) Fresh ginger (from market) soy sauce Lemon onion medium sliced two to three pats of butter Place fillets in alluminum foil on top of butter pats. Season with Lawrys seasoning salt. Place sliced onions on top along with thin slices of fresh ginger. Squeeze the juice of one lemon on fillets and cover with foil. Place on grill and cook until fillets are flaky and white. Before serving squirt a few dabs of soy sauce on fillets. This is a very nice oriental style of fish. My family loves it. goood luck
