I like the change.

The long awaited day!!!!!!!!!! In my box today a package from tin2win. A double colorado blade terminator spinner bait, terminator black buzzbait, strike king pro model crank bait and a strike king red eye shad. I can't say how well tin did. He managed w/out knowing me to get me a black buzzbait. Which had been on the to buy list for sometime. A red eye shad, one of my favorite lipless cranks, in a color I did not have. A crankbait in the depth I fish cranks most often. And a double Colorado blade spinner bait. Which just happens to be the blade combination i'm shortest on in spinnerbaits. The mail is slow right now. Assuming it hasn't been over a week since he said he had mailed them I would be frustrated, but cut him a little slack. If its been more than a week I would call and give him another call. Then give him another week and call about returning the pup.

Not really into movies, but my favorite is Shawshank Redemption.

I'll throw a vote in for Del Frisco's. Haven't eaten at Ruth's Cris steakhouse though. We do have one opening up right across the street from Del Frisco's though and i'm dying to give it a try. I think that last year or the year before Bob's Steak and chophouse won 1 or 2 and i think it is way overrated.

I love reading. Right know i'm reading Tender Bar, its a memoir, and not to bad. My absolute favorite is Lonesome Dove. Anyone who hasn't read it really should. Awesome story and great character development.

Everyday is bud light in a can. For mixed i go with a crown and 7, mojito, or a SPICY bloody mary depending on the mood. Back in the bartending days I was known as the Bloody Mary god .

Thats why i'm saying the exception not the rule. I'm not at all saying people don't deserve a second chance. Anyone can make mistakes. In college I drove after drinking a lot. Only by shear luck did I, and most of us, not kill someone and end up a felon. Glenn you are absolutely right that more people reform than we realize b/c thats not what gets covered. However, I think the statistics would bear out that most people who end up in prison(not jail) get in trouble with the law again.

The problem muddy is that you and your friend are the exception not the rule. We have way to many people in prison. Which would not be a bad thing if we were providing prisoners a way to better themselves. It is no coincidence that your friend made it. He got an education. Most people who do don't repeat. Unfortunately education(college) and job training is only an option to a very small percentage of inmates. So you have a bunch of criminals being released that don't have money, a place to live and are less qualified for a job than when they entered the system due to having prison on their record.

Hey Illini if you run across a show called Prison Nation you should check it out. Judging by your post you'll find it interesting. It comes on the National Geographic channel.

I noticed the bp thing about my new Ford also. Probably because I don't think there is a bp in my state. My best friend hates the song ringtone thing. I personally don't understand why. I would rather listen to a song than a bell type thing.

You sholdn't end a sentence with it. Like I just did. My point is where do you draw the line. Its a forum. IMO ;D shorthand should be expected. If the post is so bad that you can't even read it do you really want to know what they are saying. It takes two seconds to start reading a post and realize it difficult to read. Just stop.
