How Light Of Line Will You Use In And Around Heavy Cover?
"In" is a different situation for me than "around". Depends on situation but, I have used as light as 6lb "around" heavy cover and I won't do that "in" heavy cover. "In" gets much heavier line for sure!

Is Yum A Going Out Of Buisness Or What?
I bought a bunch of 4" and 5" Dingers at local Cabela's 2 weeks ago.....88 cents a bag. Limited color choices by the time I got to them and most were 4", but still a good deal. Sticks are so popular that most places will have them on sale at some point during the winter. I don't care what brand or color I'm buying as long as I get them cheap. Some of my better deals on these come from Gander every year.

My Rod Is Better Than Yours
I think I gave up on being practical many years ago where fishing is concerned. I enjoy a little excess wherever I can employ it. I don't walk much bank but I do like to wade sometimes. Here, multiple rods are impossible.

My Rod Is Better Than Yours
He was also way up there too!

Line For Frog Setup
50 or 65lb Power Pro for me too. Use it for all my heavy cover options. I have fished water willow plenty of times with 17lb mono, but that was before Superlines hit the scene. No need to do that anymore!

What Line Size And Type For Jerk Bait/topwater Rod?
I have 2 identical rigs for jerkbaits, one with 10lb mono, the other with 14lb mono. I prefer slightly stiffer tip for topwater than jerkbaits so different rig for that with 14 lb mono.

Is It Possible To Catch Bass After Ice On ?
I used to ice fish a lot more than I do now. I have caught 2-3 LM bass through the ice while fishing for panfish. My oldest boy hits the ice a lot, He's caught some too doing the same. I don't know what to tell you as to making a habit of it, doesn't happen often for majority of us. Not impossible though.

To Sell Or Keep? Old Bantam Curados. Greenies.
Had 5 and enjoyed them for many years. Sold them all last spring and bought 3 Tatula's. No regrets on my part. Still have 6 CA-200's from same era that I use and have no plans to sell.

Braid Fishermen, Do You Ever Go Back To Mono?
I don't need to worry about going back to mono, I never left. I use braid on my heavy cover/slop rods, all else is Trilene XT mono.

What Do You Look For In A Reel?
This works for me too!

Cork Or Eva Grips?
Have always preferred traditional full cork handles but do have one rod that is split EVA Winn wrapped and I really like the feel of the Winn. I think Winn has a good future in the fishing industry.

Good Alternatives Within The Same Price Range To Tatula Baitcasting Reel
I'd go with the Cabela's Prodigy. I'd wait until it's on sale if possible and get it even cheaper.

Pitching Distance
I don't ever pitch 45'-60'. If I have to go that far I cast it. 30-35 ft is about the longest I'll pitch anything.

How Many Casting Combos?
25 +/- for me, All get used, some more than others. Pulled 17 from the locker when I gutted boat for storage a few weeks ago. They get rotated in and out all season long.

Wrong Technique
Crap. Looks like I'm an outlaw on the run again. What is the penalty for pairing a colorado and Indiana on the same shaft? That is probably pretty severe, no?

Wrong Technique
No sir, it was a Cabela's Tournament ZX 6'9" M. It is a MH though in my opinion. i actually liked the rod for what I was doing with it. It would not be a very good rod for what they labeled it for. Still, I liked the rod. Most of my rods are St.Croix Avids, I know their XF actions very well and love them! The Tourney ZX is stiffer than those. My favorite jerkbait rod in all the world is the AVC62MXF.
