the flat botom will feal more solid when moving around in. I am not sure which one will actualy prefent a tip over if things got bad enough. for 1st stability flat is better I dont know enough abotu 2nd stability to say.

I have been using braid for about a year now and would like to adress RW's #4 wraping the tip. I had one braid set up that notoriously did this to me for about a month. I have 3 other braid set ups that are very similar without this problem. So I cut the lure of and trolled the line behind the boat to get rid of twists. shazam. The line no longer wraps the tip. The oddest part is that the braid did not show the signs of twists that mono and floro do. I did it on a hunch and it appeared to work. Maybe this will help someone else. I can't swear by it, but it worked for me. Might be worth a try before giving up on braid and throwing a way a $15 spool.

Just to clear up a small detail about Costa Del Mar. The 580 is a lens treatment. It is not a lens material.

Crucial 7'2" M XF drop shot pared with a Daiwa Tierra 2000 is my favorite fishing rig. I also have a 7ft MH G.Loomis IMX, but I use the Crucial much more. The crucial is lighter and similar in sensitivity. The IMX is probably the better rod and the weight difference is probably due to more strength.

I was able to teach this to a girl I fish with and it instantly added 25% to her distance. Originally she would bring the rod back, wait for the lure to quit swinging around then throw it. Now she brings it back and whips it forward in one quick motion.

Yes it works. The springs may be a little stiff since a wave runner out weighs a jon boat. If you don't have a motor on the transom then there is no need to extend the bunks to under the transom. Jet skis are longer than they look. The trailer may already be 12 ft.

Each person may have their own major differences. Mine is backlash. I rarely get backlash with spinning. I always get backlash with casting.

Changing the fuel line outside of the motor and bulb is easy enough. If you have understood everything that was said in this thread then you can probably do it in 30 minutes once you have the parts. It should only be $30 worth of parts. This would eliminate the concern of fuel line and bulb and you wouldn't have to spent the time and money to take it to the shop yet. While you are at it change out the gas unless you are absolutely sure the gas isn't bad. This is a cheap and easy maneuver which makes it worth doing before you spend money on more expensive things. And like sneaker said fresh plugs is another cheap easy thing to do before getting a mechanic involved. But i feel your pain when it comes to time. Somtimes it is worth it to just have it done.

Cost Del Mar Oakley Rayban Moui Jim and most of the other high end guys too. PS. the glass itself cant be polarized. it will be a film between 2 layers of glass.

If the anodize has a small offset fin then it serves 2 proposes. The material it is made out of causes it to be a sacrificial anode thereby helping to prevent rust elsewhere on the motor. The fin portion is to help straighten out and tendency your motor hat to turning on its own because of prop rotation and torque. The ones I have seen have a large bolt running through the center and don't look easy to move. Probably better to cut the hydrofoil around it.

Every thing I have read said nothing but distilled water. Not even battery acid should be added. So no to pedialyte also.

Nice write up sneaker. I learned a few things right there. Have you considered getting a higher pitch prop for your trolling motor or are you already at hull speed. Fish MD, Something sounds wrong with your distances and times. I cover a mile in 15 minutes with a #35 in a 10 ft jon about 50 lbs lighter load than you. Measured it with Google Earth.

Hardly any difference in the two types of engine. Fuel, Compression, Spark are identical. Water cooled and gear case (lower unit) are the differences. No inline filter? Is there one right before the fuel pump in the motor? "Plugs are a little wet? I am not familiar enough to say how wet is wet for plugs getting gas. But if they are wet enough could the gas be bad?

Even the best trolling motor will not equal a 2hp gas engine. Get the gas engine if you need to go more than a mile.

Awesome write up. I am on the edge of my seat in anticipation of the catch. If she has seen it all then dont be seen. The only things I can add is use Fluorocarbon and wear camouflage so that you blend into whatever background she would see. Blue sky, grey sky, green and brown trees, that kinda stuff. Crouch down, sit down, lie down, and get out of her site. Don't move. Motion gives away position more than color. Maybe try live worms?

I have heard of most of those, but haven't fished them. Depending on how long you are staying that sounds like a lot of traveling. Each of those lakes is big enough that you could fish it for a month and still have plenty left to discover. You may want to focus more on one or 2 of the lakes. Being that your dad already has some knowledge of two of them you may want to start there unless you guys are just looking for something new. . Just a thought.

I'm in Florida. We don't have an off season. So I rarely back my drags off if ever. Two weeks is the longest I go without fishing.
