floridians!
I fished stick marsh on a windy day and felt like a pinball in a pinball machine when drifting. Maybe on a calm day I would have hit fewer trees.

Pooling water on single console bass boat cover
I have done both of the above mentioned with success each way.

Garage floor epoxy paint/finish
A lot. I am not a fan of epoxy or paint on concrete floors. No mater how good it is done it will have to be redone eventually. Usually well before 10 years. Why create the maintenance issue when concrete will last 50+ years with no maintenance. There are a few ways to clean that glue and old paint off. The best way is to scarify. It involves a large floor buffer with diamond honing stones on the bottom. It physically scrapes away a thin layer of concrete.

How do I spot Bass? Does it matter?
In order for them to say that either the water is really clear, they have an underwater camera system, or they left the fish ID on their depth finder. If it's the last case then they are probably fooling themselves.

Better seats/benches for my Canoe?
The part that i found to hurt me was how low the seat was to the floor. I couldn't get my feet under me without bringing my knees to my chest. This made my tail bone into an arrow pointed right at the seat. If I extended my legs out flat then my back would bend too much. So I built a seat above the seat. The extra 5 or 6 inches made a big difference for me.

Secret spots ???
A friend took me to his secret spot Saturday. We waded through 100 yrds of 1.5 ft thick mud that was the consistency of yogurt and peanut butter mixed. It is in plain site of the highway. Cars were honking and cheering us and giving us the finger. It was humorous. My friend's only rule was don't respond to the passers by and don't show them your stringer (red fish). If anyone asks you saw thee gators and one was over 10 ft. I ate good that night.

Better seats/benches for my Canoe?
I once had plywood cut slightly wider than the rails, resting on top of the rails, fastened with jury-rigged clips, and a throw cushion for padding. It was about 5 or 6 inches higher than the factory seat and much more comfortable. It didn't make it any more tipy for me or any of the passengers I had. and welcome to the forums.

2 TM Batteries or 1
It's all about the Amp Hours (Ah). It is possible to get one huge battery that has more amp hours than two combined, but probably more expensive and heavy as all hell. You can simply add the amp hours of the two batteries together to get their combined amp hours. More amp hours (Ah) = more run time. If the dealer says something different then he is misinformed.

Phosphorous Pits - Polk County
Holly crap. I just looked at some of those pits in Tenoroc on Google Earth. They look like mazes. I would feel like a lab rat trying to find cheese. Then again that could be kinda fun getting lost back in there and catching bass.

Bait and tackle shops in orlando area
Will you be fishing Lake Nona? I know of a couple of spots on that lake, but I don't have access anymore.

Buying Jon with no title? Difficult?
If you are not putting a motor on it or if you are using it in non patrolled waters then no need to register. At least that is the way it is here in FL.

New PB
Thanks all. I would like to credit this forum for all the tips and techniques that made it happen. Frog, Yes. It was about 5ft deep to the weed tops and I was just nicking the weed tops from time to time as I steady retrieved it in.

improving casting accuracy
A thin light line is more accurate than heavy line. This is one of the reasons I use braid.

New PB
Old BP 3.5 Yesterdays catch 7.2 It is a friend of mines private pond near paisley Fl. I guess about 12 people have access with only a few that know the pond well. So I fished it for the second time and had taken note of the fishing style of the one guy I was with who knew it well. This time I made sure to use lures that were the same technique, but different than the lure anyone else was using. Long story short. It was a slow day and Mattbaits Ultimate Bluegill got this 7.2 to go double my prior PB. Quick picture and she swam away with a pierced lip. It was the only bass caught that day although I did have one other hook up that broke me off in the pads.

Do fish go back "home" after being released?
What about taking them through small canals or lochs? Lake Conway tournament has been transporting fish from the middle lake to the north lake for weigh in and release for more than a decade. The canal is one boat wide and 2 ft deep and about a half mile long. How many fish out of the chain could possibly know where the canal leads to? They would have to explore a minimum or 1.5 miles of shoreline to find the canal if they took the shortest rout and about 4 miles if they took the longer rout. I would think a fair portion of these fish make the north lake their new home.

Sunglasses
Sunglasses are important. You only have one set of eyes. I am not familiar with the H3O you mentioned. Make sure they block UVA and UVB. I am addicted to expensive polarized glass myself.

Flats Boat as a Bass Boat?
What about hull design? V vs. Flat. V rides better, flat floats shallower. I think a lot of the flats boats are designed to go shallower than bass boats. Would this also mean as a trend they ride rougher in choppy water?

Flats Boat as a Bass Boat?
I am toying with the ideal also. Anybody tried it?

Braid for everything
Suffix Performance Braid 10# with a 10ft floro leader for everything. It takes a while for the 10 ft leader to get short so I don't have to retie very often. Currently using Uni-Uni knot, but would like to learn the blood and albright/ alberto more efficiently to do comparisons. I use softer rods for techniques where some give is needed since the braid will not stretch.

boat positioning with a paddle
The theory is that the abrupt change in noise under water is more likely to spook a fish than the constant drone of the motor.

Fluoro Knot
(scratchin head) I have heard from lots of sources the Palomar is hard to beat with floro, mono, and braid.

Braided line or flourocarbon
Correct. Thinner diameter lines cuts through the water with less resistance than thicker line. It allows lures that sink to sink faster. It also allows diving cranks to dive deeper. As for drag looser or tighter the line material dosent mater. In a leader situation set your drag to 1/3 of the lighter of the two lines to be safe. Some people set it to 1/2. Use a weight or scale to determine. If you are using #60 braid don't try to set your drag to #20. You will break a rod or real.
