I don't understand the prevent defense at all, you stopped the other team all game long why change what you were doing?

ha ha.....I have a 13 year old daughter. Afraid she will overhear something she shouldn't have and go ask her mother (my ex-wife) what it meant. Gets real scary when you realize she is understanding some of the adult jokes on tv.

To say criticism of Tebow is based on his beliefs is nothing more then a diversion tactic. The criticism is not about his making other players better, or being a winner, he is those things. The facts are he puts his team in positions they have to play catchup at the end of games, where they have to rely on the other team falling apart. That is not a style of play which will lead you to playoff wins or championships. When he starts playing 4 quarters against good teams then the criticism will begin to fade.

Nothing more than a flash in the pan. He gets all this credit for completing passes against the prevent defense, if it wasn't for the other teams collapsing (this week Barber), a kicker who made long field goals and such they would not have won. If he is such a good QB how about this, do not leave you team behind where it requires the other team to mess up for you to win.

There is a difference between getting a reel wet from rain and having it get dropped into a lake too. Don't know how old the reel is but doesn't sound like they have been cleaned so probably a good idea whether it made it into the water or not.

It will only go away if they can find another way to make more $, college football is about nothing else. If you have any doubts look at the conferences now, a playoff is not feasible but going halfway across the country for "conference" games is?

I want to run 55 in my Ranger.....for me to do that need to be reasonably sure there is not a bunch of floating debris on the river even if the levels have come back to normal.

He was probably holding on for dear life with Kevin driving his boat.... Hopefully going to get out this weekend, calling for a lot more rain so not sure what the river may be like. May have to do another run down to Anna, not my favorite place to fish but at least get to run the boat.

Sorry for your loss, but it will get better. All the more reason to enjoy the little moments in life with family and friends. Just please remember to talk with someone you trust when not if its necessary, don't hold feelings or emotions in.

If water is getting inside the lights it can definitely blow a fuse. Minor issue unless it's dark out and you don't have a spare. Even if you have a spare it may blow if the water is still in the light fixture.

Its the same way with the PMP exam, when I passed mine I only got a fail, passed or exceeds in each section. When my wife took the new PMP exam all she got was an email saying she failed. Got worse for her, another email was sent saying the scoring system was incorrect but you still failed..... Would really help with these things if you knew what you got wrong...

I have been a member of FOBA for two years and can attest to how great this club is. I did not know anyone when I started but have been treated like a friend since day one. Even fishing as a co-angler, which there are bad stories about some clubs not welcoming, has been enjoyable. After fishing half of the tourneys last year I fished all of them this year because I was having to much fun. The setup of the club puts an emphasis on learning, while it is competitive, discussions are held to go over how fish were caught after the tourney is over. If you are thinking about joining a club I 100% recommend joining FOBA, you will not regret it.

Hey there Mr. Summers Fish on Bass Anglers is the club I have been fishing with for the last two years, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. It is a great group of guys to fish with, I have learned a lot fishing as a co-angler. I had thought about joining a club for awhile and kept hearing horror stories about how co-anglers were treated. First night I showed up at a meeting I knew no one, immediately two guys came up, and introduced themselves. I joined that night, and fished about half of the tourneys the first year. Had way to much fun so I ended up fishing all of them this year. Now I went out and bought a boat so I have to fish against Logan (who is also this years angler of the year) and the other boaters. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask me also.

If it happens that much I don't think it bothers the fish much at all. Caught a lot of fish in boat wakes after they went by. On the flip side, if its not in an area where boat traffic is regular or the area is in very clear water it could shut them off for a period of time... this is just my opinion and must be taken with a grain of salt.....

Was referring to after JoePa said something to school administrators and did nothing else. My warning to the administrators would be what I know and I am heading to the cops right now...

What I don't get is why JoePa told school administrators and not the police then the school let him use school facilities to hold camps for kids. If it comes out another kid was abused by him after this it will get much worse. Unfortunately after all the great things JoePa did in his great career this is how it may end...

Do yourself a favor and go talk to the appropriate people at the college, they are there to help. I doubt you will discuss anything they have never seen before. They can give you to best advice on how to proceed. The most important thing is do not give up because the task may be hard, the best things in life are the things you worked hardest for.

Yeah, the upper Potomac has way more smallies than LM, but there are some decent LM up into the Hagerstown/Hancock areas. I would not necessarily fish for LM along that area, a lot better to go for smallies. Typically you end up getting good numbers of small smallmouth but you weed thru them for the bigger ones. There are some 3-4 pound smallies around and I know of a couple 5lb ones. Just don't expect a number of the bigger ones. You were talking about kayak fishing some of those spots are not bad at all for kayaks if you are comfortable with moving water.

Fat Boy, not sure I found "a spot", there was no reason for the LM to be where it was. It was out in the main current in a shallow rocky area. Was throwing a crank for SM got a bite and set the hook. Could feel something on it but it felt small so was just reeling in quickly. Got it to about 5 feet from the boat and it surfaced then took off. There are some good LM farther up, my personal best is a 7.25lb LM and it came out of Big Slackwater.

Ha ha, no that is not my boat. It is an aluminum jet boat of one of the club members. We put in at Edwards Ferry here in Montgomery County, we usually go there or Whites Ferry a little farther upstream. They don't necessarily have to be kept on charge the whole winter but at least topped off every month or so. There is no meeting in December, that one is reserved for the board members to prepare things like the schedule for next season, bylaw changes and such. Member meetings pick up again in January.

My trip in the boat is an attempt to go with a boater from my club so I can get some instructions on driving the boat since I have little experience. My only time driving a boat was a 16ft alum. jet boat which topped out at 25mph. The ranger will be a little faster.... The batteries were charged as soon as I parked it after our trip. They are just weak and need replaced. I will do that during the winter, and I have have another 3 bank on board charge to install since the one on it is original from 2000 and has a crack in it. It still works but want to start next season fully ready to go and since I am changing out the batteries might as well make that change too....

Obviously didn't make it out in the boat this weekend...going to give it once more shot on the 12th. If the weather is okay going up to Deep Creek with a few friends. If this doesn't work may just break down and winterize the boat and hope for better luck in the spring. Anyway, got the picture of the LM I caught in the upper potomac a couple weeks ago. Still have no idea why this fish was there, shallow, swift, rocky water is not where I expected to find it.
