  10. definitley. doesnt look very realistic.
  11. scuff up the existing finish on the lures with some fine sandpaper like 300 grit, and then just brush on acrylics. you can also paint them with regular spray paint.
  12. Paul Roberts, the humerus of a deer isn't really all that long. here are a few photos: http://www.science-art.com/gallery/58/58_6272003234051.jpg

  15. uppermost forelimb bone
  16. sometimes i just dont understand you guys...... but i did find out its a humerus and its in the "recent bone" stage of fossilization, and its most likely from a white tailed deer, and possibly a peccary.
  17. really like the first photo....a lot!
  18. i found this bone while digging along a stream bank. i was redirecting the flow of the stream and i was digging into some sand/gravel and i hit a hard spot about 7 inches down, so i grabbed it thinking it was a stick but it was really hard, i pulled it out and it was a bone. any ideas what kind of bone this is and what animal it came from? i'm thinking it is either the femur of humerus of a small to medium sized mammal.
  19. i dont have one, and i dont know much about them, but i think it would only be worth if it your water was extremely clear. otherwise you're not gonna see much. and i also dont know if they have zoom features, so you might have to get close to see stuff. again, i dont have one, so i dont know. you would probably be better off with a sonar unit instead of an underwater camera.
  20. i rely on a coping saw, vise, power drill and dremel tool extensivley in my swimbait making. a band saw would be a great replacement for my coping saw, because then i could always cut out the baits at 90° (my cuts kinda get slanted with the coping saw which means more shaping by hand) a belt sander would be great for shaping by hand, but right now i use a dremel tool for that (with a structured tooth tungsten carbide bit) a drill press would also be nice instead of a hand held drill because it would be easier to line up and make perfect 90° holes. but i make do with what i have and you can probably make do with what you have.
  21. ok thanks guys. but how come these people don't have the color coded names like the key says they should? Sam, working on it now, and my parents will have the camera tonight, so photo's are a no-go. you will just have to wait until its done
  22. thats just stupid! if gang members wanted to shoot/carjack somebody, why would they have to wait till somebody flahsed them first???? i hate chainletters with a passsion. if anything contains more than one "FWD" in the subject line, it is an insta-delete message.....
