  1. Ok thanks a lot guys I guess its cheap because it is not a good lure. I just looked nice. Il have to try the kickin minnow though.
  2. Has anyone tried this lure out? Here is a link to a picture of the lure http://sfttackle.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=310 I think it is a very nice looking lure and I saw them in sports orthority a while back for only about $3 each. Has anyone tried this lure or had any luck with it? If so what is the best way to fish it and under what conditions do you fish it. Also wondering if you fish it like a swimbait or not. I just wanted to know before I buy a couple of these if they work or not. They are cheap i know that much but im wondering if the reason they are cheap is that they dont work well?...
  3. I used to be able to catch loads of fish on the senko when i first started useing them in the summer. Now the senko bite has died off and I am catching more fish on lipless crank baits. I will start useing my senkos again in the spring time when the fish are bedding though. I recon those fish on beds will hamer the old senko...
  4. While we are on the subject of Oscars check out this albino one I caught this past summer.
  5. I have not caught any monsters on rattle trap type baits but I have caught many 2-4 LB bass with them. Great baits.
  6. Good report. I always like reading your reports and looking at your pics. I like the pic of the bass jumping.
  7. I cant see the pics... maybe the site he uploaded them to origionally is down...
  8. was one of these bad boys.... http://www.luckycraft.com/luckycrafthome/Products/crankbait/lvrd15.htm I wish i left the lure in the cat for the picture now...
  9. Let me go find pic of the lure now
  10. It was a rattle trap type luckcraft lure and the catish weighed 4 LBS 3 OZ. I also caught a small bass. I guess the bass were not realy biteing because a huge cold front just came through this weekend...
  11. Got out for an hour today to throw my first luck craft bait... here are the results....lol.
  12. Great fish. You seem to catch a good variety of species as well...
  13. Great to see you caught such a nice variety of big fish
  14. They are not exactly big bass but they are a size that is fun to catch. I wish every one of my trips boated that many bass. Looks like you had a great day. Anyway did Jason ever end up catching a bass?
  15. Wow that is insane...nice catch
  16. You seem to be haveing great luck recently. It seems jigs realy are working out great for you. I only managed three bass today and my biggest one was only 1 LB 13 OZ. I was only out for about an hour and a half though.... Hope you get those three more trophys you need to get that award... im sure you will
  17. So you have any of them mounted? ;D looks like you had some great fun with your friends....
  18. That fish im sure is only 3LB 10 oz. I weighed him on a high quality scale. Anyway many of the bass I catch look bigger because of the way I take my pictures. If you look closely you will see im holding that bass quite far out infront of me toward the camera. I also stand close to the camera when I take my pics. Doing these two things will always make the fish in the picture look a lot bigger than it is....
  19. Thanks for the tips man. I know fish will sometimes take a big bait any time of year. I did not know however they would take a topwater right now. You said they will take a topwater bait in a smally body of water so would you reccomend throwing a topwater in a small private pond with murky water right now during the evening? There is a small private pond down the street from me that is why I ask. I am guessing since it is small the water temperatures would be pretty much the same all around the pond. Yeah I know that the fish do not all go to the deepest part of the lake during the winter. My last two trips have proven this. Today I caught two three pounders and yesterday I caught a four pounder in a pretty large lake. These fish hit the rattletrap very close to the shoreline as well which proves your point to be true. Thanks for the tips man and I hope you catch more hawgs soon....
  20. Dont get why no ones commented on this thread. That is a great report. I would be happy with the day you had all because of that 7.5 LB bass. Yeah I hate missing big fish... we all do but at least you were able to land a lunker bass and get a nice 4 LBer as well. I realy am suprised that you had a fish attack a top water at this time of year though. I thought once it started cooling down that the bass would not take a topwater bait anymore. Anyway I am sure you will get that first bass that attacked the topwater at some point....
  21. Great day you had there.... Hard to tell which bass would weigh more. It would only be a difference of about 5 ounces I bet. You should realy pick up a digital scale so you know for sure...
  22. Thanks everyone... I had a great day today as well. Ended up with two fish in the three pound range which were both caught on the same lure I got that four pounder on. The smaller fish was 3 LBS 4 OZ The bigger fish was 3 LBS 10 OZ Here is the pic of the 3LB 10 OZ
  23. I have no clue why no one realy bothered commenting on this thread. Those are some nice largemouth bass you got there. I would say they the first fish is about 4.5 pounds. He is long and skinny. That second fish in the bigger pictures could be pushing 6 LBs. He seems like a fat fish.
  24. I might be mistaken and sound like a complete idiot saying this buy maybe that top fish is a spotted bass and not a largemouth bass.... Spots and largemouths look very similar but spots are usually smaller and have more deffinite patterns. Also the top fish seems to have a very small mouth for a largemouth bass....
  25. Get that pic up quick man. I want to see that lunker bass!!. Great catch
