Great first post. I love fishing both senkos and roboworms. I use 4-5 inch senkos and have used green, white, and blue/black flake. They work REALY well for me. With roboworms i usually dont even bother with the 4-6 inch ones. I usually throw 8 inch + roboworms. If you throw the little 6 inch ones they will get tore up by little 6 inch bass. I just bought a pack of swim senkos the other day and tried them yesterday and caught a couple decent bass on them. You also seem to have the same kind of trips I have where you catch lots of small 12-15 inch bass.

Sounds like you had a trip like most of my trips. Lots of bass but no realy HAWGS.

The last one was bigger Anyway its still a very nice fish...bigger than anything I ever caught.

That second fish is a beast. Did you have him mounted?

Thats a nice bass. Its also a much fatter bass than most of the ones you catch.

I dont get how you would consider a day you catch a 9LB fish a bad day even if its a species your not going after..... Anyway I ended up catching a cat today as well. Was going after bass and got a few in the 1-2 lb range then switched over to catfish for my last half hour on the lake..... my dink catfish

Is that bait like a collectors item or something? I cant imagine anyone spending $300 on a bait and useing it for fishing.... Imagine loseing a bait like that to a snag......

What exactly is a mudfish? Im guessing a kind of catfish but im not sure?

LOL that cracked me up. The two closest lakes for me have lots of carp but not many koi so this was a pretty rare catch. Anyway I seem to be haveing great luck with lunker carp and no luck with lunker bass recently so I think il be fishing for carp for the next couple weeks....They grow much bigger than bass and you usually get a better fight out of them as well....

How big was the channel cat? I love catching those....

Wow i didnt know there was such thing as a professional carp tour. Me and my cousin fished in a carp tourney in england once when I was visiting though. We did pretty well but did not win anything.....

After catching a big carp a couple days ago on accident I decided I would go out thismorning and target them. I had a medium action spinning rod and a light action spinning rod with six pound test. I was fishing with white bread and caught a very pretty looking koi carp. He was 28 inches long and I got him on the light action rod. The fight one of the best fights I have had with a fish in my life. Here is the pic of the fish....

Yeah tell me about it. Since I started fishing consistantly again which was at the begginning of the year I have caught two tropical fish and a koi carp....

It was probably in someones fish tank and they released it into the lake because it was eating all the other fish. How big was the one that you saw anyway?

"As long as you have a line in the water anything is possible when fishing" I have heard that said so many times on this site and it proved true for me today.... I went out to a local lake fishing for largemouth bass. A cold front had just come through so I decided the best bait would be a six inch finess worm. About 20 minutes in I got my first hit and when I set the hook I was sure I had hooked into the world record largemouth bass for sure. It must have taken my drag out to the middle of the lake. Anyway after a while I figured it was not a bass because it did not feel like one at all.... After a 10 minute fight I ended up landing this 31 inch common carp. This is the second biggest carp I have ever caught and the first one I have ever caught on a lure. Here are the pics of the fish. How much do you guys think this carp weighs. I am 5 foot 5 inches tall and a little overweight for my height....

Great video. Yes that is a Wels catfish. Those things actually get about twice as big as the one he caught in the video. Amazing how he landed that fish. He just put his hands in its mouth and lifted it out. I would never do that with a catfish....
