How old are you anyway? You sound like you are from my era. Unfortunately those days are forever gone. You can get a new 870 Express for about $300+/- if your lucky and an Express really ain't anything special. A new 870 Wingmaster might be had for $550- $600 if you shop it out. Auto's have gotten spendy, $600 for a decent Remington auto is a fair deal.. Most used ones are going for more than I paid for this one. (yes, bought it tonight) This one will be for my youngest son when he comes of age to handle his first full size shotgun. Do you have a local gun shop to go to? Gander and Dicks over here with me are always too high on the guns you want even if on sell, at least around me. Whittakers for example has one for $325.00 but, its camo. I'm sure your no where close for it
  2. Zel, I could use you over here on septic systems, had an issue last five years on a septic installer, wasn't hard to prove but he was teaming up with one of our soil surveyors around here and getting results in his favor, there for he had to install the most expensive septic system, the above ground(mound) kind $10,000 plus. That is dishonesty by the buck load, but theres way more that goes on besides this. >
  3. nah waters are fine, now maybe building somewhere and water is not there is another topic. Fisher of man now, he's got a simple good point, I'll paraphrase it. why tear down nature to build and then end up putting it back again for looks? most of that mother nature had worked out to keep watered. now I'm from the backwoods and know several loggers that will refuse to strip woods down for certain reasons and this is one of them, talk about recycle, lets use some sense here and keep nature and build your house into it, instead of tear down nature build house and build nature around it, Ronnie's point I agree with let the man build for his family and have at it. But the way they stripped and then built is ridicules. Then have to come up with a man made way to keep new nature watered Theres one area I know of that kept most of all trees and some hills, then built the houses around the natural landscape, just beautiful, looks like they was there for thousand of years
  4. I'll tell ya what I've noticed since the suburban boom, is the area flooding. So many new places in the past 7 years around my neck of the woods that flood now
  5. :-/ I don't know, darn saburbans there's worse things, But thats how we live around here. We seem to cling to our Guns & Religion guess what I'll hang on the fence to keep the boys away from my daughter > are we going to go fishen yet, before we decide its cruel to hook a worm in public

  17. its good to see ya hangen in there justfishin. Thats what we gotta try and do.
  18. Yes I've tried that and it is gooooood. Now Ive got to try that Cheese whiz, butter and Tabasco on some chicken wings. Hey Fishing Bud did he give any instructions on the mixture? Yea, 4 to 6 sticks of melted butter, add 2 tblsp cheese whiz and tabasco to your tasting stirr it up. Now what he did on the hot wings was heat the grill up hot and he threw on the wings to sear them, then with seasoning rub on them he'd pop them in the oven till done. then he set up the dip for the wings. Yummy
  19. Its People! soylent green------I mean Hot Pockets are People ;D
  20. I like using a rub, I got some from a rep at our work-he and his brother own a steak house down in Texas, his rub is good, kinda has a bit of a sweet taste to it. Lowerance rub is the name. He told me another thing he does at his restuarant, he takes melted Butter and adds Cheese whiz from the can and tabasco sauce. he uses that to dip his hot wings in before he serves them. I asked him why the cheese whiz, he said it holds the tabasco better so it won't break down in the butter as much
