Drinking And Driving

I would like to share an experience with you, about drinking and driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from various social sessions over the years. A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends at a local upscale Hotel and had a few too many beers and some rather nice red wine. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before: I took a bus home. Sure enough, I passed a police road block but as it was a bus, they waved it past. I arrived home safely without incident, which was a real surprise; as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got it.

Going to the police auction tonight to solidify the purchase of the impounded Mata buses. Thanks for the idea and the laugh.

Hahaha, lmao. Why do I have a strange feeling in my gut that this is no joke?

Maybe Mike ran out of wine and was after his weed. LOL

That would explain this picture of RW showing how big his roadtrip bass was!

Next time "borrow" a police car. They have more toys to play with!

Mike, did you check to see if the batteries were filled and charged before taking that bus? (only Roadtrip attendees will get this one). :)

No he didn't, and He is gonna wait and see if they will charge before finding out otherwise and THEN go buy new ones! :laugh5:

Do buses have batteries? BS aside, I learned a hard and expensive lesson at G'ville. Never again will I allow that to happen.

Mike, that's a good one.

I will have to remember that one.

Thanks for sharing.

AHAHAHAHAHA...this whole thread is great.

I have actually ridden in a stolen buss. :respect-059:

We went canoing once and wen you get off the river the buss takes you back to your campsite. So we get off river at the designated spot and load up on the buss. Only one problem there is no driver? So someone in another group decides and I quote "f-this if we wait any longer I'll run out of beer" . So he gets another beer from his cooler and walks up to the front sets down shuts the door and drives us back to the campground...
