Carolina rig or drop shot?

Drop shot.

You don't have to move the bait forward to get action. Plus drop shot is cheaper and I think a hellova lot eaiser to rig

Drop shot

Depends what I'm doing. C-rig if I'm looking for fish or if they're scattered out, dropshot if I have them pinned down or fishing vertical cover/structure.

Drop shot. Its been working like a charm this month.

my preference is the C-rig if I can....I do have to work on the drop shot skills though

I've always caught more bass on a drop shot but better quality on a Carolina Rig

I use both a very large amount of time and many times interchangeably. I catch just as good fish on one as the other. Many times when I'm fishing with my partner, he's fishing one and I'm fishing the other.

Both! Carolina rig to drag along and cover more water. Drop shot to fish vertical and hopping it down a break line!

Definetly dropshot. much easier and faster to rig. works wonders

Depends on what you're trying to do. For me, drop shot is a fish targeting presentation. It's more finesse and for tougher bites. I'm old school and still like slinging a C-rig on a 7' or more rod. I can cover a lot of water, float my lure over vegetation and cover, or bang the bottom in hopes of drawing in attention. It kinda depends on the situation and personal confidence in your abilities to fish with your chosen presentation.

Drop shot, but to be fair I haven't given the c-rig much of a chance.

Same here, i prefer the dropshot though...

I'm not a fan of either - I'll throw them to get bit but really would prefer to do something else.

Almost Anything else.

Push comes to shove ~ Drop Shot
