Where can i find all the big bass in the fall?

are they in deeper water?

don't know about deeper water but look for them in the weeds that are the greenest compared to the yellowish brown dying ones

Basically the same locations you find them during pre spawn, except the smallies will be roaming or and looking for prey in the 8 to 10' break line; or deeper; larger bolders and any isolated stumps. Good pair of plorazed glasses and watch for any bass interested in your lure.

Multi bass fishery. The LMB should be a little tighter to cover, same areas as the smallies but shallower and bright green heathy weed beds should hold the LMB. Cloudy days both bass could be roaming looking for bait fish,,Crawdads appeal to both bass; I prefer the more compact finesse jigs for smallies and larger trailers for LMB, both will react to a drop shot 6" finesse worm. A spinnerbait is a good search lure and often works very well in the fall, just work it deeper and slower; Indiana blades help to reduce speed and work the 5' depth zone so you can see it and watch for followers.

PS; keep in mind that fall can bring on the dreded turnover; if your lake bottom debris floating and the water smells a little like sulfur, change lakes for a few weeks or move to the opposite end and check that water. Lots of adjustments ongoing during the fall, once it settles down, some of the best fishing can be on tap.

You'll generally have to go deep for bass during the summer during the day, not fall...water temp usually isn't an issue until it gets really late in the year.

Find the food in the fall and you'll find the big fish.

You will find her in 3.8ft of water next to a fallen tree about 6ft off shore on the North end of the lake. It will be cloudy with the sun poking through the clouds sporadically. It will be in the mid 70's and the barometric pressure will be between 29.1 and 29.9. You will catch her on a 3/8oz brown/orange mop jig with no trailer. She will hit it on the fall. It will feel like a slight "tick" on the line. You will set the hook.

They will be where ever the shad are. When I am looking for fall bass I turn straight to my map. I search for places with shallow water right next to deep water via drop offs, ledges etc. I specifically look for points close to deep water. Bass will not want to travel far to get meals in shallow water. Also look for creek channels nearby. The bass will be near them to travel to and from the spawn. When I find the spots, I then rely on my graphs. I search for structure on the shallow water. The structure will hold fish in shallow water. Then when I begin fishing I search for the bait, visually and on my graph. If you find the food you find the fish.

For me the fall end up on LMB under 1#er one or tow around 2#er.

Looks like I will NOT find the 4-5#ers, My fishing is done just from the shore line, and on man-made pond.'

I fish some creeks but NOT luck.

In the same hunt like you, hunting for the BIG-boys but nothing. :dazed-7:

For me fall is big bass time.I usually find them shallow.Less than five foot. My last trip the seagulls told me where they were. They were saying , translated of course"Over here over here." half way up the creeks on shallow flats.
