My Boys Catch

Went out with my buddy flyfishman and my son Saturday morning. Dave got there a bit before us, had a couple of blow ups and turned the spot over to me and my son. Thanks for that Dave. My boy cast, hooked and reeled this in all by himself. I am very pretty proud of him, this is his biggest fish on a lure, not using live bait. This is what it is all about, we had a great time. Here are a couple pics of the biggest fish of the day!

He landed it on a 5'6" zebco rod with a pfleuger president 20 series on 4 pound stren mono with a black and yellow johnson beetle.

Thanks all. We were in the car today riding to practice and he told me he should use that lure more often lol

Thats awesome man! You must be a proud daddy, I know I would be! Cant wait until my son is old enough to start fishing for Bass rather than sunnies.

Thats great to see. Im sure hes telling everyone he talks to. Glad hes thinking about lure selection too

That's a very healthy looking fish. I like the second picture it looks like he's really admiring his catch and a little bit in disbelief that he caught that fish. I'm sure he'll remember that fish :respect-059:

Congratulations!!!!!! You will look back at those pictures one day, and the memories will come alive (trust me).
