Two Megabass Lin 10.

Congrats!

This was my answer as well. Looking forward to a review on a reel that is so expensive I can't even dream about it. :(

Does the Lin 10 catch more fish than, say a $100 reel?

That's cool. Let's just rain on somebody's parade because they appreciate enthusiast fishing equipment and choose to spend their own money on something they love.

Dry humor isn't easily seen on this forum, I know I account for a lot of it online in forums but its not really the best comedy approach.

Robert knows I was having some fun at his expense. Others apparently didn't get my attempt at wit.

What rod are you going to pair with Lin 10?

Not sure yet. Maybe my Evergreen Temujin Amazon Fliip. I wish Megabass made the Black Jungle in a slant bridge. That would be tops!

AHEM... Allow me to swing the gate open... Long Mike? Attempt WIT?

Robert, in your opinion, is there a noticeable difference between the high end rods like Dobyn's DX or Steez and the uber high end stuff like MB and Evergreen?

The Lin 10 looks like it was made by Lamborghini.. Makes sense why you would order one. Sweet reel. We expect a full review! :)

I have a couple high end Dobyns rods and never use them. Steez rods are great rods for the money, recently I realized they went up in price alot. Same rod, but I think the exchange rate had something to do with it.

There's just something special about the Megabass and Evergreen rods that I can't put my finger on. Same goes for Gan Craft, I have the 'Junk' and use it quite often.

US rods just don't excite me that much. Unless it's my one of one Frankenrod, custom built with a GLoomis GLX blank and Megabass components including the Slant Bridge. :)
