How you guys like it? Spinning or Baitcast reels as use for main line.

I use it on my spinning rods and love it. No management issues and good strength.

On my BC setups I use Abrasix instead for the additional abrasion resistance.

InvisX is good line, it has good knot strength and is very manageable on BC gear. It tends to have more stretch than some of the other FC lines, so it's a trade off. If you are going to use in on SP gear, I would stay in the lower lb. test lines as once you get around the 10-12lb test area it start to become a little stiff for use on SP gear. Seaguar makes good FC line, and if you have the chance I would tell you to try Tatsu, less stretch and very manageable.

Thinking about trying it for my first FC mainline application. I use Seaguar 25-50# FC for Salt leaders so I already have trust in the brand. Thanks for feedback guys. Tatsu looks awesome except the price lol

Exactly the right applications!

I fished it almost exclusively this year on over 10 outfits. Most were casting and some were spinning. Loved the castability and strength of it. I had zero break offs and virtually zero manageability issues. It isn't the most sensitive or the least stretchy but I thought it was a good performer given the price. Next year I am going to take 5 top notch floro lines and do a shootout of my own to get a better comparison.

I use 15 # for spinnerbait's, and worming. 20# for fippin.

I love the stuff for all the reason's given.

I had 8lb on 2 spinning reels and can honestly say I am glad I used it up this summer and replaced it.

Yes it was very easy managable on spinning gear and the knot strength was pretty good but that is where my praise ends for it. I found it to be pretty poor in terms of abrasion resistance, had a fair amount of stretch, and was not the most sensitive. I wanted to like the line but I just can't see myseld buying it anymore. I can get BPS at a better price and gain abrasion resistance and less stretch. Yes its not as managable but the upside's out weigh the managability.

I've been going through a bunch of flouro's and have invisix spooled up right now. This is exactly what I found about the line also. Great manageability, probably the best I have used but.....it's a little more stretchy, not quite as sensitive, and more abrasion prone.

What knots you guys run with InvisX and the AbrasX? For salt leaders I always snell to hook and surgeon knot for loop. In fresh water polymer is pretty much only knot I tie and 1 more but I don't know name of it.

Depends on my lure. Texas riged plastics I usually snell. Other stuff like cranks and jigs I usually tied a San Diego Jam knot or a clinch knot. None of them failed.

Been using Invisix for several years on my BC's, mostly 12#. I have no complaints about it. I use the San Diego jam knot as well.

The Invisx gets chewed up way too easy from the zebra mussels. It's to a point where I'm retying every dozen casts. I prefer the Abrazx

I use it in 6# size on spinning gear. Pretty much exclusively for drop shotting. Knots that work well are Palomar, Uni, and Uni snell.

Yep. I also go heavier for some casting applications.

I like Invisx so much, I buy the 3000 yard spools. You get 3000 yards at twice the price of the 1000 yard spool, so it's like getting 1000 yards for free! What a country!
