I hate having to pay 6-7 dollars for shipping for just one thing. Are there any local or major retailers that carry it other than Cabelas?

True but I've spent over 400 dollars in the last two months on gear so I need to take it easy on the wallet.

Our DSG's locally (2 of them) carry the tubes. Where I bought mine.

The Dicks here sells the Cavitron buzzbaits but thats all they sell

I have gotten original formula at Dicks many times, and the last time I was there.........about a week ago they had it. I don't know if every Dicks has it but the 2-3 that I go to most often here in WNY do.

I called all 3 Dicks here and none carry it. I went ahead and placed an order for some online. 15 bucks ain't too bad I guess. I need to just make it a constant order item

The manager I talked to at the large store said that a few stores are carrying it, but it has to be requested. The online Dicks does not sell it. I made the request, but he said it has to be several people. Sooooo I will call twice a day for a week lol

Amazon carries megastrike stuff much to my amazement. If you are an Amazon Prime member you get 2 day shipping for free.

The Dicks near me in Orlando carries it - as well as some of their buzzbaits. Unless you've spoken to the employee or even manager, I wouldn't go by what they say in regards to stock. I've been to five DSG in my life and not one had a knowledgeable member in the fishing dept. I've been pointed towards Berkley Vanish when asking about their favorite mono, I've been pointed to crankbaits when asking where their jitterbugs are and I've been handed Reel Butter when asking about scents.  The most knowledgeable person I've run across was a guy working the golf section - had a discussion with him about his favorite froggin spots.

 

Of course, this is just one regional sample, but I'm not impressed with their staff. Love the inventory and stores though.

Not that I've read. I have a fishing partner that puts it on everything and has never said anything about it.

I agree with the sentiment that the staff isnt very knowledgeable, but they are nice...
