If he is going to be successful as a QB, his best shot is in NE where at least he will know which defensive plays will be run without having to read them himself.

    SPEEDBEAD.

Lots of guys look up to Pacman Jones, Maurice Clarrett and Lawrence Phillips .   Granted, they are the guys in the cells below them but still.....

Were any of you guys watching football in 2011?  Tebow Time ring a bell?

You did not have to be a Broncos fan to be a part of the excitment Tim brought

to the league. The guy flat out brings it to the game, 100%, 100% of the time.

He is a great athelet with tremendous work ethic, but perhaps more importantly,

Tim Tebow is a solid citizen and an inspiration for many.

Whatever his role with the Patriots, Tim will give it his very best. I wish him all the

luck in the world. Congratulations to the owners, coaches and fans, this will be a

great addition to your team!

Yes but at the time the Broncos needed a QB an were desperate. The Pats don't need a QB. Where is this guy going to fit in. He's not a true RB. He's more of a scrambler that makes things happen when the pocket collapses. Maybe they need a prayer leader before the game?

Earl Campbell wasn't a true running back either. The man was built like a dang defensive tackle. Yet he did pretty good for himself.

Tebow will do fine wherever they put him. The man is an athlete in the truest since of the word. Bill is gonna use him somewhere. Wherever that may be, he will most likely excel at it. That kid has too much work ethic not to succeed.

He'll fit wherever Belichick wants him... or they wouldn't have brought him to New England.  Remember Corey Dillon, Randy Moss, and others?  You do what the coach asks here, or you leave.

Tebow wants to play QB... I'm sure the Pats know that.  But, I'm also sure Tebow knows that he's going to have to do other things to keep a job here.  In the meantime, he'll have the chance to be mentored by one of the best QBs in the history of the NFL (by just about any measure).

That is, I think, the very definition of a win-win situation.

Don't forget: Tim has won more playoff games with the Broncos than you and Manning combined.

Don't know what the pats were thinking.  Tebow is a backup QB at best, and not a very good one either.  smells like desperation.

Good luck with the media circus!

LOL good one!

He might as well suit up for the Bruins series...

I dunno I think Bill will keep the media circus down. He seems quite good at keeping them away. The man runs that team with an iron fist.

You read wes welker interview apparently Bill sucks their souls out and keeps them in a bottle in his office while they play for him. Wes can finally be Wes now in Denver with Mr. Personality Peyton Manning and Black-n-Decker Lol

It's the same way with any boss, you play by the man's rules as long as he pays you.

Right, I was more making fun of Wes being a ***** and complaining about it now. Bill runs a good program up there, they avoid a lot of crap that Det, Dal, and Cinci have had with personnel.

Plus it is funny, you seem to not like funny today, besides I owe you and Wes a few for all the ray Lewis dead body jokes.

Mike, I agree with you, except for the part where you owe me for the dead body jokes. The fact that he played a part in 2 murders is no joke. I think ray Lewis is a giant scumbag, and a faker. he's the one that has to live with himself, and ultimately answer to his god, good luck to him.

I agree we aren't his judge. People these tend to judge one another and put labels on people when it really isn't their place at all. That is why I don't get it. Forgive and leave it to the Lord to take care of. Man he was a good player that is all I can tell you forsure.

Tebow played college football and won the Heisman and won two National Championships at...quarterback.

When he played for the Broncos at...you  guessed it... quarterback,  he led them to the playoffs.

He plays with his whole heart and throughout his entire career has been a winner.

Perhaps the wearing of his Christian faith on his sleeve for anyone to see is part of all the hating.

It's one thing for arm chair football experts to determine that he sucks and is not really a quarterback but, the prayer leader comment is very telling.

Barely wins in NFL, he needs more seat time (experence) to find out his potential, if he has one here.

Well here is a good article that I think is true for the most part. Don't think he lasts the pre season or he is not playing QB if he makes the cut

  • Super User

I agree.  Although he would have to be labeled as a 2nd string QB or other skill position if he wanted to come in and run a wildcat and still allow pretty boy to come back in after the play was run due to the weird rules they have around substitutions and a 3rd string QB

Sour grapes from a home-boy?

There are less than a dozen "NFL quality" quarterbacks in the league right now, the other twenty are just filler.

I think Tebow is awesome....and I'm a Steelers fan.

Too many douchebags in the NFL with some talent. This guy has about as good a character as you will find ANYWHERE, let alone in professional sports. Throw in the fact that yes, he is talented, and I dont know what people's issues with him are.

I hope the best for him and honestly I think Belicheck is the one guy who can use Tebow's skills effectively. I hope he plays goal line fullback against the Jets both games this year and scores about 6 touchdowns.
