Any one have any tips for getting this to dive? I have 3, 1 will dive and stay under for a while and the other two practically just run the surface and wont dive. any suggestions?

Use a lighter line. I have used these for years and the newer ones seem to not have the same action. What type of rod are you throwing it on?

only runnning 15lb braid, do you think using it on a spinning reel could be the issue? I had to send my only baitcaster back to bps and have been using a spinning outfit for the past week.

Nope that's not the problem. I fish them on spinning gear fairly often when I fish ponds because they cast easy in tight spaces and are easy to fish over and through cover. Like others said, you have to have your rod tip almost touching the surface of the water for them to dive and even then they aren't going to get very deep.

You would be missing the point then, they are suppose to run 0-1. Look for something else that dives deeper, I think theirs luck e strike rick clunns at walmart that run 1-2'

Exactly what I was thinking. The 1-Minus is somewhere between a crankbait and a topwater bait. Usually when I'm fishing one (or any wakebait for that matter) the goal is to get from 3-6" beneath the surface , if not right on the surface. I fish them on the tidal river at high tide if the grass is submerged. Killer baits when used at the right time.
