Jig with craw trailer, and I'll be a oddball and say frog.

There are times in open water I've seen a splash and thrown to it and gotten a hook up on the frog, and you can throw it anywhere.

Spinnerbait, can fish above weeds, down low and slow roll it. Any color water. I just always have confidence in a spinnerbait

Texas rigged plastics for sure, whether it be weightless or weighted. Various weights and types of plastics, depending on what I "think" they want.  Depending on the cover, i'll fish a frog or jig.  In open water around structure I like to give em a unskirted jig head with a grub.

I have a lot of confidence in spinnerbaits, wacky rigged senkos, and jigs. Have them tied on every time I go fishing.

This is my first year getting REALLY into fishing, but in the short time i've had on the water, My favourite lures are definitely a Watermelon 5" senko-type worm with red flake, and recently learned to be effective with the Drop Shot Technique, and loved using Berkley's 3" Power Minnows.

I love to T-rig a Rage Craw!!!  Watermelon Pumpkin!

But when everything fails, Rapala Original Floater.  This will always land fish!!!  I don't know why, but it never fails me.

I would have to say a white buzzbait and a KVD 1.5 Squarebill Crank in Sexy Chart Shad color.

Here's what I typically have tied on and use in order of preference:

1. Koppers Live Target Frog, 55 or 65. Yellow or Green typically. Lately Yellow has been working.

2. Spinnerbait, usually in white. I fish clearer water so I use willow blades.

3. Crank bait or jerk bait. I usually throw Rapalas

4. Drop shot rig with a shad, worm, or tube.

5. Texas rigged worm

It's all about confidence and what the fish are telling you. I start out fishing a frog and when that stops working, I try faster more aggressive techniques and if that doesn't work, I slow down. I am trying to learn new techniques. Lately, I've been drop shotting and I love it, what a productive way to catch fish. Next, I'll work on jigging.

My favorite lure to fish with would have to be various sizes of Rebel Pop-R. There's nothing like topwater bass fishing, its the best.

Having said that, I would feel real silly if I didn't at least give a texas rigged plastic or a crank a chance in the water. Not the most exciting way to catch bass but they're definitely more productive in my opinion for catching good numbers of fish.
