Featured Replies

works for me. put s the bait quietly in the water right where the fish are.

Flip/Pitch/Punch, it's all good ;)

Absolutely.  I fish a lot of ponds and I constantly walk the creek banks and pitch to certain spots.  A lot of time I will pitch into open water because like mentioned before...it's quiet, and a lot of times that's what the fish want.  If you're walking the creek banks, this makes things easier when trying to get around limbs and branches and also be precise when pitching.  Good luck!

Theres a lake surrounded by cattails and sawgrass I like to go to. I usually get a few with the flipping stick. Thats probably my favorite place but Im always on edge from gators unfortunately.

Yep, only way to fish in some spots with lots of over hanging trees. If there's lots of vegetation on the surface you can flip holes in the weeds just like you're in a boat.

this is true. I love pitching sweet beaver's and rage craws, but thursday I was fishing my med-heavy worm and jig rod and happend to be by some tulles, so i "pitched" my senko in there and all hell broke loose! It was definetly a good fight.

I have tried to before but have not relay had much action.  Got bit a couple times.  Big reason I think you loose the stealth aspect.

Spinnerbaits, sounds funny but they seem to work pitchin'

+1, 3/8 to 1/2 arkie heads with rage menace, hawg, and craw.  Walk lightly, and in exposed areas, crouch. Heck, I do it with MH spinning rods

works well even in sparse cover with wacky rigs
