Dump the supercharged Tundra 5.7 under the hood and that baby will scream.

I see what looks like paddle shifters, but only 2 pedals?  HMMM?

See what a few years of racing and development in F1 does for a car company's road cars......paddle shifters!

Not a big fan of flappy paddles, prefer a regular manual gearbox in sports cars.

Would also prefer a twin turbo V6 instead of a V8.

Much prefer a 6 speed manual to paddles as well.  Back when I was driving Italian sports cars, I took a test drive in a paddle shift Lamborghini Murcielago and the 6 speed manual.  No question.  Ended up buying the 6 speed.

Your Tundra has the electronic shift on the console. :wink2:

No substitute for cubic inches. The 5.7 is bulletproof, and performance from a 5500lb truck has been compared to a 3 series Beemer. Add a TRD supercharger and it bumps the hp over 500. Shoehorn that into a 2000lb chassis and you'd have one heck of a ride

What you have is an overly front heavy car which hurts handling. For a car the size of this one, you can easily get the 500hp with a lower weight engine, and smaller profile so it can be shoved as far back and low as it can go. Same power, lower weight is priceless.

Doesn't appear to be an issue with the Corvette.

Corvette is a larger car.

I think this car would fall into the GT class, so weight is probably not at the top of the list of concerns.  IF they do make it, I expect it to be in the same price class as the Nissan GT-R.

Not a bad looking ride. But don't think it would look good with a trailor hitch and then not sure how it would handle on a slippery ramp. So guess this guy will just look at pics and wish he could get a new tow vehicle. Can't see having two rigs to insure. (yup must be gettin old)

Perfect South Florida car, 0 to the next red light in a 1/4 mile, then wait 5 minutes for the next green.

Even your vivid imagination could not comprehend what's like down here.  Throw in vacationers and snowbirds, estimates put at 500,000 in Broward and 150,000 in Palm Beach in season...............0-60 mph takes like a week.

I used to go to the Gulf Shores in Pinellas County quite often to visit the ol' lady's grandmother. The entire island is a senior citizens home. It was loaded with snowbirds as well. A lot of Canadians winter down there.
