Best Creature Bait????????

Featured Replies

I had alot of success this past year with zoom brush hogs and gycb flappin hogs. I don't know if there is a best. I caught fish on several different colors of brush hogs on same lake, mostly in same area.

I had the best luck using srike king I have tried most these seem to be the best.

As I have the best success with Zoom Brush Hogs that's my choice.

My favorite is the Berkley Power Bait Power Hawg. I fish it either weightless, on a split shot rig, or shakey head. Lot of movement out of this bait. Previously my favorite was the Brush Hog and Baby Brush Hog but have had better success with the Power Hawg.

Sidenote: Also a big fan of the Berkley Beast. Some may classify this as a 'craw' as opposed to creature but I have had luck with it using the same methods as the Power Hawg.

Sweet Beaver in any black/blue pattern. Or the baby brush hogs are good too.

Chompers, Zoom Brush Hog, Flippin' Hog, and Sweet Beavers are all great creature baits.

i absolutely love the space monkey. i swim them on top with amazing results. when the fromt legs get eaten off, i save the bottom half and use them to flip. clearly the best creature bait on the market. i was an ugly otter/sweet beaver guy, but the space monkey has taken over my wallet.

Zoom baby brush hog and reaction innovations sweet beaver.

A member on here (Joe S) makes his own trailers, worms, and a few other baits. An he makes a fantastic Sweet beaver bait!

Also like brush hogs!

If I had to pick one I'm going to leave it to Beaver, the Reaction Innovations Beaver that is. The runner-up would be a zoom baby brush hog.

Hands down the three best on the market are *** version of the beaver, Alurrings ***(my vote for number one), and the CYCB Flappin Hog.

*** *** is a copy of the brush hog with slightly longe tails and an awesome garlic scent at a fraction of the cost.  Great bait.

No. one= brush hog by zoom

No. two=yo-mama by bigger bite baits (academy sports)

Definatley a Sweet Beaver, except for thick grass, a brush hawg is better for coming through thick grass, it'll a little narrower.

Brush hogs and the Yamamoto Kreatures. Both are great baits.

I haven't use much for creatures but I have used both flappin hogs and kreature and both are deadly rigged weightless the fall gets em.

If fishing heavy grass you can cut off the two "arms" on the side and it will slide through like a bullet 8-)

That being said brush hawgs are one of my favs, but I am really loving the new netbait mad paca.

X2

sweet beaver, wooly hawgtail, and the beast

Baby brush hog.

I've had my best luck with Brush hogs or Power Hawgs.  I really want to try the Space Monkey, just seeing those arms and legs flailing like crazy, I'd eat it too!
