Is the st. croix mojo bass wacky style spinning rod a good rod? I can't try it out because i'm gonna bid on it on ebay. I'd be using it  for wacky worms and tiny spinnerbaits. Is it sensitive?  Thats my main concern because I'll need to detect light bites. How does it compare to the abu gacia veritas? Thanks

I think it is the best rod in the mojo line up. I had a similar veritas and didn't like it for the senko style presentations but it was good for jerkbaits.

I had the wacky style rod and really liked it. I mainly fished wacky rigs and shakyheads with it but it also fished small cranks very well and was probably one of the best all around spinning rods I've owned. 

I don't have the mojo but have the rage in the same action and really like it all my Mojos are good rods

Anyone that recommends a St. Croix spinning rod, seems to point out that one as the one to buy. I've contemplated purchasing based on the many great reviews that I've seen online and I may.

The Avid 6'8 M/xf is an awesome spinning rod for wacky and skipping weightless plastics. If you're willing to fork out the extra cash. I have 5 mojo rods but mainly for moving baits. One of whicjh is the 7' M/F for an all around spinning rod. For sensitivity im looking at the Rage and Avid or higher as the blanks are noticeably more sensitive than Mojos.

I bought a mojo spinning rod online, but when I finally put my reel on it(Symetre 2500), I did not like it and returned it. It was very tip heavy, didn't like the balance at all. I ended up grabbing a *** and a Fenwick elite tech small mouth that balance much better, feel like they will be just as sensitive, but haven't fished them yet.

The Mojo line is a great series of rod. I've got a few of my own, and although I don't have that particular model in the Mojo series, I haven't been disappointed with any of their other Mojo's. I do have the Wacky rod in the Legend Tournament Bass line which is the same action, and it works well for light moving baits as well. 

For a little bit more though I think the rage is even better.  Better blank, lighter weight and better sensitivity.  I also feel that the rage series is a little more true to power ratings where the mojo line seems to be rated a touch light.

A rod with a broken tip isn't the same rod it was before.  The action and power of a rod change dramatically when you lose much length off the tip.  Hopefully it didn't lose more than an inch or 2, if it did you might not be happy with what you get.

Yeah i wouldn't bid on that rod, especially sight unseen, even for $50.  Not to mention here in the springtime Bass Pro runs their rod trade in deal which could get you a few dollars off and get a brand new rod.

I bought a Mojo Wacky and a Mojo Powerspin from Basstackle warehouse a few months ago. At $75 apiece and free shipping I couldn't resist. Haven't fished them yet but did a bunch of research and it was 99% positive.

By far my favorite spinning rod. 15 lb super 8 slick power pro turns it into a fluke/senko skipping MACHINE! I really love that rod.
