What rod/reel do you guys recommend for

flipping and pitching that doesn't cost an arm

and a leg. Ballin on a budget

I really like my Abu Garcia Vendetta and Veritas rods, mine are all matched up with either used Revo's or Curado's that I have bought here.

I'd go with a St. Croix Mojo Bass.

Denali Jadewood with a Lews Superduty.

I am not sure what budget you are working with so I will do two options...

1) 7'3" MH/F veritas ($80.00) with a quantum accurist($100.00 or less). or the quantum kinetic for <60.00 

2)7'2" MH/R Tatula($110.00 from Ron) and a citica G7 or E7 (around 100 or less)with hawgtech bearings($16.00). or the tatula reel for a little over 110.00
