St. Croix, Dobyns, and Carbonlite's serve me well.

St Croix, Shimano, Abu Garcia...I have a couple Tec Spec rods that I use and for the price they cant be beat.

Loomis gl2...imx... St. Croix Avids... Kistler..original Lta Helium....

Also I have one *** heavy/ fast and I have really been surprised by it...these all are very dependable rods for me... Nothing fancy.. But they flat out get it done for me.

I have others but won't mention those.. I don't believe they are worth it

Powell. I have a new Dobyns Dx and I love it also.

My favorites are shimano cumulus & first gen cumaras. Super light and great sensitivity.

Others I've used used and really liked in no particular order, Powell endurance and max, dobyns champion and DX, phenix m1 and recon, Fenwick smallmouth and aetos, st Croix avid.

I have my eyes on a jackall adrena, and a few megabass...

The features and characteristics meet the criteria that I Iook for in a rod.

Simple criteria for me, ample foregrip and longish butt.  I've been posting pics of 5+# bass, 30# jacks, 40# cuda, 20# snook and tarpon, been doing most of it with medium spinning rods.  My rods have been going strong for 7-10 years, they must not be too bad.  My Redbones cost $89 and my Star rods cost $99, have about 10 of them.  Each of these rods cast a good distance effortless, I'm always using lures heavier than the rated max.  The only thing that matters is the fish, and the bigger the fight the better is.  

I'm not on this super sensitive or super light bandwagon.

Most of my rods are GLoomis ( GL2 aand IMX ), I have a couple of Shimano Clarus ( great rods for the money ! ) and a couple of GraphiteLeader  ( Bosco and Veloce ).

Man, my problem is that I like so many and I still want to try more.  Right now I like, megabass, dobyns and 13.  I really want to try klx and upper end loomis.

Becoming a big fan of St Croix, bought my first one (6'8" casting mojo) last year and am slowly adding to the collection. Have bought a rage and a legend tournament in the last month and plan on buying another rage tomorrow. I love the action of their x-fast spinning rods.

I almost bought a rage today at Gander. They had them clearanced pretty well.

My favorite rods are St Croix ( 3 LTB and one Premier ).

A couple month ago I bought my first Dobyns DX rod.

Of all the rods I own and regularly use, the hardest ones to put down are the Phenix M1 graphite, and thier X11

composite cating rod.

Shimano for me. light, sensitive, good action and power, and decent pricing.

All but one of my tournament rods are Shimano and half of my back of the Jeep every day carry rods are Shimano.

I have lews, loomis, croix and 13....my favorite is the one with a fish on it

I bought my first dobyns about a year ago and that was it. They feel like extensions of my arm. I now own all dobyns. I need another DX745 and Ill be all set. I also fish all Shimano reels. They just feel right.

Megabass look nice, but there is no way that I can justify paying that much. I can still catch bass with a rod under $100. Lightning Rod Shock and Tech Spec fit the bill. Every Shimano that I have owned broke, so no more for me. Looking at a Carbonlite next.

I really thought it was going to be 13 for me, but something about my Powells just edged them out enough for me to roll that direction. The new inferno's though $30 more than the *** are some bad mama jamma's. Currently using a mix of Endurance, Diesel and Inferno's.

St croix Legend Tournaments and mojo bass rod for my casting reels and for spinning i prefer the avids. St croix all the way!

ST CROIX love my LTBs have rages an avid and multiple mojos cant go wrong with them in my opinion. have a couple abu's they are a pretty good rod but i prefer my Croixs. As for reels i have a few PQ's, 4 lews and a shimano spinning reel in the future I will go straight lew's for baitcasters and maybe get a couple more shimano spinning reels
