    It wasn't very big. It weighed 2 lbs 13 oz. I took the close up pic to get the details of the coloration.

    Yea man those colors are crazy looking, have you ever caught one similar to that in the waters you were fishing? Or have any idea how/why it got like that?

    We get those splotchy bass quite a bit around here. Last year I caught a smallie I named "split face". One side of it's face was normal colored, the other side was almost black, and the line went perfectly down the middle of it's face. He was just a little fella, but I'll know if I ever catch him when he gets bigger I guess.

    It is 26 degrees outside right now. Back below zero tomorrow night. It is snowing right now and we expect to get over 24 inches here in VT. There is 30 inches of ice on the lakes.  YOU SUCK

     Its not good here today. Around 80 yesterday and now 45 and 30 MPH winds.
