Look guys, if you want to wear Cargo Capris, admit that you wear Capris, and I will have no problem telling you that we can't be friends.

SHORTS are supposed to be SHORT, I currently own 4 pairs of Chubbies shorts and I want to own at least 14 so I can wear them every day all summer and not repeat colors until every other week.

I tuck my PFG's into these shorts too, and these are proven to allow you to cast further and set the hook harder.

Like I said, these are real shorts, I'm a proud supporter of the Cargo Embargo.

I wear Columbia 8'' cargo shorts........are these not shorts?

6-8" length is fine.  Any longer, (covering the knees) is just plain weird.

I am not sure that that a man should be that concerned about not repeating garment colors, hem length,  or matching accessories. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

John, when we hit the water this summer you are not allowed to wear these. Unless we're stripper fishing in ptown.

I suppose there is a time and place for just about anything.  I have many fishing shorts, don't recall too many being available in 6" inseam.  Most upscale golf courses and country clubs have dress codes, 6" in seam would not be allowed, but be fine for tennis play there.  Being in Florida many of us wear shorts everyday, year round, the activity dictates the style.  Camo/cargo................I don't think so..........

As long as shorts are above the knee, all good.

How did this thread go so many pages??

Well I'm a member at some pretty upscale courses and clubs here, and you can bet that I wear my Chubbies when I golf, or feel like having a relaxing late evening putting session.

Only complaint I've received is from the restaurant manager, all the bartenders are distracted by them, and I believe a cart girl ran into a hazard from staring for too long..

Chicks dig 'em gents.
