Is there always coffee in the am fishing or not fishing?

Nothing like waking up and going out fishing with a fresh thermas of coffee.

  • I like my coffee like I like my women. Hot and goes down easy. No coffee for me on fishing morning. I'd be doing the orangutan hang of the side of the boat.

Since we're going there... I had the bubble gut right as I got to the lake one morning from a combination of McD's and coffee. I was very disappointed to find the bathrooms padlocked (offseason time)

Black coffee only for me.

I'll drink Starbucks lattes on occasion, but I love their expresso shots, doppio, triples, quads.

Occasionally, when I'm looking to take one of my "Night Ops" trips to another level,

I'll start it off with one of these . . . . . . .

I enjoy my coffee but on fishing mornings I best have a place to stop on the way or on the lake.

I'd like to comment on this whole statement but we best keep it PG. I'll just say I don't disagree.

My buddy did the orangutan hang off the side of MY boat due to to much coffee in the AM and to much booze the previous PM. Didn't sound pretty. Kids these days.

I drink it 4-5 cups a day with a little cream. I always take coffee and a jug of water with me when i take my kayak out. That java monster looks interesting,is it straight coffee or a bunch of chemical stuff and sugar?

It's ugly - but it works.

I am also on the three cup minimum team.

Black.

Energy drinks when fishing in the morning for one of the aforementioned reasons.  Been there,  done that,  try to avoid it.

Black coffee, every morning! I rotate brands a lot. I have a Starbucks rewards card. Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Seattle Best, Kona, just to name a few. I've been dying to try Blue Mountain Coffee from Jamaica. haven't got around to buying a pound of that, yet.

Coffee.  There are two times I drink coffee.  The first is when we go out for breakfast, and the second is when I'm driving in the wee hours.  It's decaf with breakfast, and high test when driving.

Coffee black. We drink it all day long. At least 3 pots a day and sometimes 4. When we go on a road trip we even take our own coffee pot and coffee. Folgers Black Silk.

Mac, come by the cabin some time during the RoadTrip. I'll serve you the best cup of coffee you've ever had.

I love strong dark roasted, black coffee. I generally use Folgers Premium Dark Roast or Black Silk. It is not the best, but good enough to satisfy my addiction. Blue Mountain and Kona are fine choices for a special treat. My problem is the older I get, the stronger I make it. I may just eat it right out of the can or grinder if I live long enough!

Edit: I once thought I would save a couple of bucks and buy some generic coffee. This is much like buying the cheapest fishing line on the shelf at Walmart-bad idea!

About a pot a day. Gotta have it. Sometimes twos pots a day if im working out in the frozen tundra

Black Coffee. Two Stanley 32 oz Thermos' when working in the winter. Summer, fall, and spring, its three Monster Absolute Zero's during the day and a NO2 Explode double shot.

When fishing its a Thermos of coffee in winter and early spring. Otherwise its just one monster.

Hanging around house and weekends. Its two, and only two, cups of coffee in the morning.

I certainly will. Thanks.

Have I got a drink for you then!

Brew a pot of coffee. Pick your favorite type. After the coffee is brewed. Poor said coffee into the reservoir. Leave the filter and grounds. Brew a second time. Stuff is strong is all get out and about triple caffeinated. Using a new filter and grounds when rebrewing will make your hands shake.
