Top 10 Summer Baits

Featured Replies

I pretty much fish with the same stuff year round ( cranks, spinnerbaits, worms & jigs ), so it´s a lot more where will the fish be so I can be there than it is with what.

Depends on the type of lake/ river fishing, but around my area it's TN and Cumberland River oriented. So, here's my list:

1. Buzz bait

2. Poppin frog

3. Swimbait

4. 10" worm Tx rigged

5. Senko

6. Flippin bait on t- rig

7. Deep crankbait like SK 6xd

8. Carolina rigged 10" worm

9. 3/4 oz football jig

10. Big Flutter Spoon

Buzz baits, t rigged worms, waky rig senko, jigs, chatterbaits, live bait, hollow body Frogs, stanely ribbit frogs, zoom lizards, crawfish/ creature baits. I use that stuff alot along with other stuff.

This year im using big slammers and swimbaits

Rage Tail Recon Worm

Terry Oldham's EyeMax Jig

Zoom Trick Worm

Lunker Lures Rattleback Jig

Rage Tail Lobster

Zoom Fluke

Bass Assassin Tapout Worm

Zoom Baby Brush Hawg

Stanley Vibra Wedge

Johnson Gold Spoon

I subscribe to the "fish a few lures and fish them well" perspective.  My go-to bait year-round is a spinnerbait, after that it's plastic worms and jigs.  I have historically avoided crank baits but I'm starting to learn them.
